It is indeed a catch-22. I also enjoy seeing women slipping off their shoes, sandals and flip-flops, especially the later two because then they're barefoot. But it's common sense that there's going to be some germs around because of this. Rather disgusting actually.

This comes with the territory of feet. We (Foot fans) know this and it should really be no major deal with us. Some of us liek dirty feet anyway. I make sure I wear socks at the airport when I fly.
