In the most recent issue of "Mens Health", they have a survey of women and what they like done to specific areas of their body. The scale was pretty much a 1 - 5 color rating - red being the hottest, blue being the coldest. In the feet/toes area, nothing passed a yellow, and that was a "foot massage". For kissing/licking, it was a BLUE. Most of the other options were blue, too; some green, which was one ranking up from blue.
I was kind of surprised. I figured more women would enjoy men servicing their feet. I know it's a minute portion of the female population surveyed, but I figured it would be a bit more diverse.

Solebelt I am with you on that one - I actually made a similar posting not too long ago about that very article, and honestly I was as startled as you seem.

Well I do think you have to keep in mind that the WAY a guy does ANY foot activity will also have a significant influence on the ladies. My guess is that very few guys probably do a romantic, gentlemanly job at these activites, thereby resulting in the low scores. Either that or it's still the social stigmatism attached to these activites.

not a good survey is one thing.. but also.. most folks are affected by the social stigma tied to feet. you don't want to be singled out a the foot-lovin' one!
but like Feetluvr points out.. most guys can be 'selfish' in what they do for and to a woman.
so...... if you sampled everyone in a good survey.. i won't be surprised if the finding is still similar....
however... you poll gals who had one of us touch her feet.. you'll get far different results.

p.s. most of the US is not as sexually adventurous as the folks who live in big urban areas on the coasts!!!!!!!! keep that in mind
as well.. teens and early 20's folks are more open then ever... so.. that grouping will answer differently than someone 30's plus. that is what i've seen to date

I'm very surprised at this survey results...I'm 48, and have had many g/f, and wives....lol over the years, and I have yet to meet one woman that wasn't a sucker for a foot massage. They must have surveyed the ladies on "The View".

This is what I was thinking when reading the results that were published. I'm sure that only a small percentage of the female population has experienced any kissing or licking of their feet in a sensual way. As a result, most women they surveyed probably had to guess as to how this would feel to them without having experienced the feelings associated with it at all.
Most women don't think of their feet as being sensual, let alone sexual. Because of that, they have no idea how good a guy sucking on their toes and/or licking their feet can feel. I know that from my own personal experience, I've had my share of women who had never experienced having their toes sucked or feet licked before I did it to their feet. They told me after I was finished that they had no idea anything done to their feet could feel so good and be such a turn on. With all those nerves on the soles of the feet, how can most women not feel anything or not be turned on to some degree?
While I'm sure there would be exceptions, I think most women who haven't had the experience of having their toes sucked and feet licked would thoroughly enjoy it if it was presented in a comfortable environment and done with someone they're comfortable with and can trust.

Like someone said months ago I too suspect that most of those men's fitness and muscle magazines are thinly veiled gay porn. Mostly filler articles around pictures of sweaty guys exercising. I'm sorry but there's very little defending having magazines of muscled up guys in speedos around your house.
I'd take any advice about women from them with a grain of salt.

Men's Health, which likely fits your stereotype of "thinly veiled gay porn," interviewed Tim McGraw not too long about how to be a good father and a good husband to his lovely wife Faith Hill. I think that "thinly veiled gay porn" line is vastly inaccurate with a front-cover headline from the September 2006 issue that reads "More Sex...Better Sex' (sure there's a guy on the cover, but THAT headline has a page number which takes you to a beautiful woman arched backward being splashed by water and numerous tips to please your lady. Think of it the same as the cover of 'Glamour' with a sexy woman on the cover....they likewise offer tips to please someone of the opposite sex. You'll never hear anyone yell such accusations of those being "thiny veiled lesbian porn" NEVER. Such suspections are dead wrong, and so is the claim of "little defending" which I have just successfully done. Don't judge a book - or magazine for that matter - by its cover.
