CHANGE OF HABIT (1969) During the opening credits, there's a "strip tease" where three nuns change out of their habits and into street clothes. There are short close-ups of their feet, as they take their black stockings off. One of the nuns is Mary Tyler Moore! ECSTACY (1933) Hedy Lamar's infamous nude scene doesn't show off her feet. However, the scene right after that shows her running clothed, but barefoot, in the forest. She trips and sprains her foot, and a man massages it and wraps a cloth around it. She plays a 30- foot billboard picture who comes to life, walking barefoot in the streets of Rome. Sophia Loran is also shown barefooted nicely. "La Perla", aka "The Pearl" (1947). John Steinbeck adapted his own short story, and it was filmed entirely in Spanish. MarÃa Elena Marqués plays the wife of a poor fisherman, and there's at least one good closeup of her bare feet. "La Perla" has played at least once on TCM, but it's not on DVD (at least not in America) as far SIREN OF THE TROPICS (1927) I was kinda disappointed in this, as Josphine Baker mostly wears shoes in this--even in the scenes set in the tropics (she wears sandals!). But there are a couple scenes of her barefooted. In the first, she's about to bathe in a stream, and in the second, she's taking a bath in a tub (she kicks her feet up, in the latter scene). Her bare breasts can also be seen in these two scenes! PRINCESS TAM TAM (1935) Much better! Miss Baker is barefoot in the scenes in Africa, and she also dances barefoot in a Paris nightclub. And there's a beach scene with her barefoot, too. I EAT YOUR SKIN (1964) A horror cheapie about voodoo on a Caribeean island. This has some nice views of barefoot girls, both natives and "civilized!" SCREAM BLOODY MURDER (1975) A sicko film about a distured teen who kills several people, then kidnapps a girl. But it's worth sitting through, because the leading actress is barefooted through the second half of the movie! There's even a couple close-ups of her feet, as she tries to kick a door. GRAND HOTEL (1932) Greta Garbo can be seen removing her ballet slippers. I haven't seen this in a while, so I don't recall if her feet are actually on display. GREAT CATHERINE (1968) Jeanne Moreau "tortures" a prisoner by rubbing his face with her foot. Sweet torture! NAKED MASSACRE (1976) A disturbing film about a sicko who invades a house where 8 nurses are sleeping and kills them one by one. The girls are all barefooted, so it's worth sitting through. There's also an early scene of a prostitute wearing black stockings. HAUNTS (1977) This his a nice close-up of May Britt's feet, as she takes her shoes and socks off. BEYOND THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE (1979) Sally Field can be see barefooted, in the last part of the movie. What a remarkable list! It has been so long since I've seen "How to Murder Your Wife" ('65 - '66) but I believe that it is the movie that made me fall in love with Verna Lisi. No close ups but a couple of "bed shots" that revealed her feet. You don't have to watch just for feet, the flick is a hoot. I looked at the list again to make sure but could have missed it; though brief, the foot shot (or is it 2?) in the shower scene of "Psycho" always was a high point of the movie for me.

The old silent film "Nosferatu" 1922 had a dirty barefoot scene in it when Nina sleepwalks onto a balcony. -------------------- LeDaemon's Clips http://www.clips4sale.com/880

Oh, yes, PSYCHO! A movie I've missed. It does have a great close-up of Janet Leigh's feet. HOW TO MURDER YOUR WIFE is another movie I'm missed, thanks! -------------------- "You have very nice feet!"

Any movie Kathleen Turner does, she shows off her stockinged feet - Romancing the Stone comes to mind...Don't forget the opening scene of PSYCHO where Janet Leigh shows her stockinged soles as she's laying on a bed...Happens right after the opening credits. California Suite (1979) has a scene in which Walter Mathau's(sp) character tries to put pantyhose back on to the feet of a passed out drunk call girl; great shot of her stockinged soles as he struggles to put the hose back on her feet.
