National Fashionistas -- Season Nº.6 of Women in Modeling and Entertainment.
Six years ago, one man had a vision. It began here, and it would change our world. As the vision grew, we joined together and cheered, stood in awe, held on to our seats, and gave these women our appreciation. We watched in utter disbelief, stunned silence, and sheer amazement. Above anything else, we have been inspired and enriched by the vision.
Sometimes, things are so special that words cannot explain because the history and legacy of this contest makes the Fashionistas so special. Everything these women ever wanted out of life comes down to how they rise above all else and become the one girl who wears the Salvatore Ferragamos.
This season will be like no other. This is the Showcase of Amazing. They will achieve the impossible and forge new beginnings. These women will aspire for their dreams, these women will not hold back. And this season is where new beginnings ... evolve.
----
The National Femme Fashionistas will have 32 women separated into two classes of 16 girls each (the American Female Class and the National Female Class). Each class will have its 16 girls further separated into 4 divisions of 4 girls each.
**NOTE: Any name that is typed in BOLD AND CAPITAL letters means that the girl is brand new to this contest. The girls who are returning will be placed in the same division of the same class as they were last year.**
**If there's anyone whose name you're not familiar with, I suggest you look at her profile on Wikipedia.**

The Finals Classic is the FINAL contest, in which we will ultimately decide which femme will be given our version of the Vince Lombardi trophy called the Salvatore Ferragamo. That crown comes with the title of World's Sexiest Feet. The Finals Classic features the champion of the AFC vs. the champion of the NFC.
----
The game is simple. For each match, you must vote for the lady whose feet you find sexier. At the end of the voting period, the girl with the most votes in each match will win. We'll do the same thing the following week ... only then, each girl will face someone different.
Each girl will embark on a 16-match schedule that will span over the course of 17 weeks (each girl will have a week off during that time). At the end of the sixteen matches, 12 of the 32 girls will advance to the playoffs (six girls from each class). In each class, four of those girls will be the division champions (the girl in each group with the best overall record), and the other two will be the wild cards (the two best NON-division winners, regardless of division affiliation).
Regardless of who your favorite girl is, here is the pattern she will go through:
-- She will face the other three girls in her division twice (6 matches). -- She will face every girl in another division of her own class once (4 matches). -- She will face one girl from each of the remaining two divisions in her own class once (2 matches). -- She will face every girl in a division from the OPPOSITE class once (4 matches).
----
THE IMAGES These pictures will serve as your inspiration to help you decide who you'll ultimately to vote for.
NOTE -- Any videos posted is NOT foot fetish related. Besides, you might want to log in your YouTube account in case one of them is age restricted.
BAR REFAELI -- Now that we're past the storylines and drama that has given taken this contest on an emotional roller coaster ride for it's first five season, we now turn the page that starts a brand new chapter. Bar Refaeli is the leading symbol of a new generation that will shape the foundation of the National Fashionistas that leads towards the future of new talents. I chose her to be that person to bare that responsibility and to carry that with admiration, only to be envied by other who look up to her for guidance for future success in this contest.
CANDICE SWANEPOEL -- For those of you who are new to this contest, you should know that her last name is pronounced SWAN-a-pool (as opposed to swain-pool). Swanepoel is the first and only woman in National Fashionistas history to be crowned as champion two times, both times occurring in back-to-back seasons in 2011 and 2012. Both times she defeated Marisa Miller in the Finals Classic to be crowned champion, thus receiving the titles of the National Fashionista. Candice Swanepoel was first introduced to the masses as someone who would be the Official Symbol of the NFC upon entering her first season in 2011. For someone who was largely unknown to the male population at large at the time, she used her status as the Official Symbol of the NFC to elevate herself as someone who is The Face of the Fashionistas.
CARMEN ELECTRA -- No conversation about this contest's history can be had without mentioning the name of Carmen Electra. She was our first champion and was a pivotal piece to why this contest has started in crease in its popularity back in Season 2. She is remembered as the first powerhouse of this contest for her very dominant presence in how she handled her matches with such ease, often with a finished result that made her win very lopsided. Anyone who dominates the contest like that is taken back through memory lane and compare that girl's dominance to the one Carmen displayed back in the pre-historic days of the Fashionistas.
HEIDI KLUM -- This is the first time in where Heidi Klum takes part in this contest. The legend in the supermodeling industry is extending her immortal status as an icon into this stage where she has the opportunity to put the period at the end of the sentence that cements her legacy, an extra achievement that she can place on her resume. While both Candice Swanepoel and Marisa Miller serve as Official Symbols of their classes, Heidi Klum will serve as the Board of Directors of all supermodels involved.
MARISA MILLER -- Marisa Miller is the Official Symbol of the American Female Class. She is now entering her fifth season as a National Fashionistas, with her only absence coming in the second season in 2009. She personifies what it is to be an All-American supermodel. Even though she has not won a world championship, she has won more matches than anyone other contestant in the last three years. She has made the Finals Classic twice as the American Class Champion.
French designer Christian Louboutin introduced his namesake collection in 1991, and his powerfully feminine shoes soon became must-haves for stylish women everywhere. In addition to a distinctively sexy aesthetic, Christian Louboutin shoes are also instantly recognizable for their vibrantly red-lacquered soles. Today the collection includes a line of handbags that are every bit as covetable as the shoes, ranging from evening clutches to everyday totes.

Let me be the first to give you a round of applause in putting this masterpiece contest together once again. This was certainly the time that I had circled in my calendar. Ever since when you announced some of the new girls who would be in this year's contest, it was something was looking forward throughout the entire off-season. Now the talk is over and it's time to see who will be left standing alone when all is said and done.
Once again, thanks a million for taking the time and organization skills to putting this craft together. I can't think of anyone else who treats celebrities with this much care and highlights them to this degree as well as you.
There is so much going on here that I need to step off and let someone else fill in the blanks. I'll get back here later to comment on some of the matches.
This is going to be a great year, I can tell.

Some very good matches to start off a new season. One of my favorites of this week involves Jessica Lowndes against Selena Gomez. Every time I look at her, I can't help but to think how great she is. I love her face, the way she poses for the pictures, her feet, just about everything. She proved to be a very tough person to beat last year and I'm hoping for better things to come out of her. She's the dark horse in the AFC because right now I can sense that Carmen Electra is going to have a bounce back year. Looking at her pictures, WOW! That was some wake up call, if you ask me. I'm not sure about Stacy. If she wins this week, that'll tell Lowndes that she's in for a long year. But Jessica is as tough as nails, believe me. Even when up against another girl with great feet, it's still tough to make a case against Lowndes' feet.
Irina Shayk and Rosie Huntington Whiteley. Extra excitement. I mean, this is only Week 1 and those two are at it ALREADY? Even though I picked Rosie, I will feel so terrible for whoever loses this match. Both women were SO DOMINANT last year. Looking at their pictures and videos made everything tougher for me. Listen, if you picked Irina, then I don't blame you. May the best feet between those two win.

As they say: when the new season starts, everything is so new and fresh because everyone starts out at 0-0, making it possible for anyone to win the championship. With that said, let's get our act together and finally give Audrina the championship she deserves! It's a new year with a fresh outlook, and now Audrina is way more poised and focused. If she can somehow get enough voters to get past Candice, then no one is going to stop her.
Audrina's feet looks spectacular this week. Great way to kick off the year with two wonderful sets of pictures. The closeups of her feet look wonderful and flawless. Her match against McCord should be a blowout, as far as I'm concerned. McCord, after winning her division last year, tells us that she has some fans with her. However, I see a win for Audrina this week to give her a big boost in the right direction to start the year.

A lot of great women with HUGE egos in this contest, I think. Something has to give here because there has to be a winner in each match. All these big names in here and we must figure out a way to agree in mass as to who has the sexiest feet of all of them.
Let me comment on Candice. Being a two time champion tells us that you'll have to kill her off in order to have a chance of winning the whole thing. Winning it twice means you're no one hit wonder. Her pictures this week are among the most spectacular of the bunch, and I thank National for coming through with these pictures because I've never come across these pictures from Candice before. The fact that she's nude in these photos are easy enough to comment on. I'll let someone else take that task and talk about how great she looks without clothes on. But let's not miss the finer points here. The finer points is that in those black and white pictures, for Candice to stand and pose the way she does in those pictures is a testament to her, especially in her last picture. I bet she can pose like that for hours on end. Everything about her feet in those pictures is beautiful.

You're right about that. There's so much going on here. Especially when you consider that it's the start of the new season, everyone will fill in with speculations and predictions as to what might happen. There are other women in here who are well worth mentioning. Maggie Grace, for example. Never heard of her before, but she is very beautiful. Her feet look well enough for me. I voted for her over Katy Perry.
One girl who I know is going to be talked about a lot this week and this year is Kate Upton, especially considering the type of year she had last year. A lot has to be said about her, and is going to be said about her. However, doing so now will take up a lot of time. For now, all I'll say is that I definitely voted for her.
What's also great is that this is the time we get to make our early predictions as to who will face each other in the finals this year. I'm not sure what my prediction will be, but I'm curious to see what predictions other people will have about this year's matchup in the finals.

There is a lot of public interest in who is on the cover of fashion magazines with websites dedicated to the subject. For supermodels being on the cover of important magazines is a matter of prestige and achieving the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit edition is quite a celebrated highlight. It is especially noteworthy if a cover model is fortunate enough to have a solo cover appearance. The unveiling of the swimsuit issue cover and its model is a media event, widely reported in the press.
For many the mere sight of bronzed bathing beauties on the cover of a sports magazine is quite a moral issue. The issue generates numerous letters from readers both in support and in opposition of the issue each year. Numerous subscribers cancel subscriptions as a matter of propriety annually. Recently, Time Warner took action to avoid many of the complainants by withholding the Swimsuit issue from certain types of recipients, such as libraries and schools. Numerous types of trivia and statistics are monitored regarding the swimsuit issue cover subjects. Several have gone on to subsequent success in Hollywood. In three of the six season I've ran this contest, there was a woman who graced the cover of the Swimsuit issue in the same year that she was in the contest.
2008 -- Marisa Miller 2011 -- Irina Shayk 2012 -- Kate Upton 2013 -- Kate Upton
Beyonce, who was in this contest at one time, was also a covergirl. Heidi Klum was on the cover back in 1998, Petra Němcová on the 2003 cover, while Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker were featured in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
Here was a comment I posted in Week 2 of last year's contest ...

That's something I immediately realized and thought to myself when Kate was announced as this year's winner. Next year, I'll try to make it three for three. Just watch.
While Kate Upton is well known by now, I did make it three for three when you include this season and the two before it.
For anyone who's interested, here's the David Letterman segment that aired last night, I believe, in where he chats with Kate Upton about her experience in doing that photoshoot in Antartica. The segment is almost nine minutes long, just so you know.

You have done a tremendous service in the name of celebrity feet that it no longer worth debating as to whether that is true. The only celebrity foot thread in this forum that everyone's been looking forward to, worth discussing is back for a sixth season. I can't believe I'm here for another season. It's like a reunion of all the regulars getting back together to discuss and sometimes disagree when it comes to debating who has the best feet.
National, your last two posts about the Sports Illustrated swimsuit thing deserves a separate post from me because that is in a class all to itself. For now, let's get to the topic at hand.
Like every year, there seems to be two or three super divisions that stand out for me. They are Division II of the AFC, Division III for the NFC, and perhaps Division I of the NFC only because that division turned out to be the strongest in history last year. Anyone reading this doesn't believe that, then National will tell you. My favorite division is Candice's division. That group is LOADED. I do think Candice is going to win that division again, but I think it's going to take her eleven wins to do it. I say that because Brooklyn Decker is going to keep Candice on a leash. I don't like Megan Fox, but if she stays consistent, like she usually does, Candice is in trouble still. Petra Nemcova is an all-time favorite of mine and I cannot believe that National has her in this contest. I thank you a lot, sir, for including her. However, due to her lack of familiarity with the majority of the foot world, I believe she's going to pay the price and come in last place of her division. I won't agree with that, but I don't see it happening another way because of how hot and how well known the other three are.
My favorite match this week is Bar Refaeli against Marisa Miller. If it weren't for the fact that this was Week 1, this match would've been the main event any other week. I can't stand Miller, and I hope that Bar really puts an end to Miller.
Like the other said, there's so much in here that it's impossible to touch on all of the subject in one post. I, too, will need multiple posts to do this thread the justice it truly deserves. I want to comment on all the matches this week.
This is truly amazing stuff.

What's funny is that I forgot ever making that comment. Fantastic memory. You stayed true to your dedication in continuing the streak. With the way things are going, you'll make another correct pick for next year. I don't know how you do it, but you keep the streak going. Ten girls are qualified to be the cover girl every year. Had they chosen someone other than Kate, you would've had to start a brand new streak. None of the other nine girls who were in the running of being on the cover are in your contest. Kate was the only one.
And I would also like to extend many thanks to you for providing us this truly wonderful piece on the history of women who were featured on the front cover of that magazine. That was such a fun list to look at, especially when you see some of the more famous names on that list. And thanks for showing us a gallery of all the covers and making it easy for us to understand which covers were the more prominent ones and which ones features girls in this contest.
And if that wasn't enough, a million thanks to you for giving us the pleasure of looking through the very first issue that was published way back in the 60's. A great perspective of how times have changed since then.
I know this hasn't have anything to do with feet, but since a lot of women this year are or were featured on the cover, it's worth talking about it. I don't see how Kate Upton is going to lose this week. In any other week, perhaps Mila would've beaten Kate. But on the week where Upton is the cover girl for the second year in a row. I think Mila picked a bad time to face Kate.

We must keep the votes coming in for Victoria Justice. Kim Kardashian has some pretty serious shoes going on and that will spike the interest of many voters here. But Victoria has pretty cute shoes of her own. I love the chose ups you have there and they had me staring at them all night and day. So far, so good for Justice. I'm hoping the lead holds.

You know, I'm interested to see how Kristen Stewart does. That's a rather bizarre pick for the contest, if you ask me. She might end up losing to Carmen this week, but being how strange that girl is, I would be on the lookout for her as the season moves along. Something tells me that enough people would vote for her to steal several wins this year. Just be careful.

With the first division, the one Jessica Alba's in, it is hard to imagine Jessica having two bad years in a row. To me that division is really up for grabs. Personally, Alba's my favorite, but it's tough to predict how the rest of us would vote. I don't believe Selena Gomez is going to repeat as division champ. However, that Nina Dobrev is pretty nice herself. She looks like Emmanuelle Chriqui. I think Alba will retake her division again, then hope for the best in the playoffs.
Next, we have a division that's LOADED. Bar Refaeli in a division with Rosie and Marisa? That's a DEADLY division. With National pushing Bar as the spokeswoman for the new direction for this contest, and Marisa being the official symbol of the AFC, someone has to finish behind the other. Again, Rosie is in that division. Maria Menounos was here at some time in the past, although she didn't do well the last time she was here. I now think because she is much more well known now than she was back in the day, that could help her get better as the season goes on. My pick if for Bar Refaeli to win it.
Division III is also a toss up. Although I think that Kardashian will have a comeback year, it's so hard to predict who will win that one.
Division IV was the easiest division for me to make my prediction in the AFC. It will be Irina, hands down. I see her running away with that one.

For the NFC, Division I is another top heavy division. Other than that Irina division, this was another easy prediction for me to make. I don't see how Kate Upton is not going to win that division. Unlike, Irina, however, I don't see Kate running away with that division. Considering how well everyone in that group did last year, you can tell that this is going to be a very interesting race. Having said that, as much as I love Jennifer Aniston's feet, I think last year was her final good year in this contest. I don't see her having another year like that this year. I see her finishing in last place with fewer wins. Mila will do well enough. But not well to win that division. And with Tisdale, you can never tell what's up that girl's sleeve. She will always be the dark horse of this contest. You do not want your favorite girl facing Tisdale either in the playoffs or late in the season when a playoff spot is on the line. The only thing that'll keep Tisdale from winning that division is Kate Upton. In practically any other division, Tisdale would be a favorite to win it.
Division II is okay. Audrina is the obvious choice of winning that division for me. I don't see Kate Perry doing much of anything this year and I think Justice will have a bounce back year. Like Caseman said, Kristen Stewart is so out of place, but at the same time, she will be very interesting to watch. I don't see her doing much to Audrina, but she just might cause trouble for others outside her division. Personally, I hope she loses every single match, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Division III of the NFC is my favorite of all divisions. That group is LOADED, as I said the other day.
Division IV will be an interesting race to watch. I LOVE Maggie Grace, and I'm excited that National knows enough about her to include her this year. However, I think her lack of star power is going to cost her some key matches this year. I like Heidi Klum and was looking forward to seeing her perform this year. I fear that a lot of voters will hold her age against her. I hope not. Very little is known about Hawkins, but she looks hot enough to get my attention to vote for her. Very interesting division. I think I'll pull for Maggie Grace to win that division. She very classy. We need more women like her in this contest.
