I'm not at all ashamed that I like feet, but I do feel shame that I like candid feet pics and vids. Thankfully I've never given any creators any money, or supported it in any other way, I've basically been an innocent bystander. So even though it can sometimes be my absolute favorite type of pornography, I am not sad to see it fall to the wayside. I just use other things, and I don't particularly miss candids.
No matter how you feel about them... its dumb to even try to do it now. 20, even 10 years ago, people weren't so aware of all of the WEIRD shit we did, like candids ( at least half of the weird (in a bad way) shit we do involves either candids or something else non consensual) .. people weren't so aware of how it looks to whip out something small with a camera and start filming, and how many pervs in the world would try it ... and people are now much more focused on doing shady things to get off and you'll be made a complete societal outcast for it.
But anything porn with even a small market will keep existing no matter what so as long as there is still some internet and we can still throw whatever we want on it, there's no such thing as dead genre, even if some might want it to be

While I'm at it let me clarify my position on "candids". I consider California Beach Feet "candids"; and that guy who gets women to take their shoes off in a busy city after work, and tells them to say how bad their feet smell; or even the fake Reflexology guy in beauty shops: I consider all those "candids" as well.
We can argue day and night about the "morality" of someone taking a sneaky candid. Though maybe not the best idea, sure, I'll look at those too.

as a genre, if compared to 10-15 years ago, absolutely. but people still do it, they just don't really post. i've been doing so a lot now that i've been living in chicago. much safer to just take a candid on the train then even attempt to start a conversation with someone.

This is next level intentional obtuseness but nbd.
And candid means a shot taken without someone's prior knowledge, a posed picture is by definition not candid. Another nbd but we might as well get the definitions of "candid" and "porn" sorted out first since that's what this topic is about.

2. (of a photograph of a person) taken informally, especially without the subject's knowledge.
So, in conclusion, a candid doesn't HAVE to be without someone's knowledge. Thus the examples I gave.
