Not knowing what to say in this extremely awkward moment, I said 'The doors not opened yet?' It wasnt. And let me tell you--I felt like a sleazebag. There were 5 of these guys--looking alot like the diverse criminals from an early 80s Atari game--Ganster Alley comes to mind if anybody here is my age and had Atari--a burly guy with a beard in black, a short bald guy in red, a lanky guy wearing business attire, old guy, young guy--I just stood there reading a flyer I got in the street, sweating my ass off--I had already turned my phone off cause I was going in I figured, so pretending to read text messages was out. So I felt like a total oddball--I hit the elevator to go out and get some air and then come back in in 10 minutes, but it was going down, so I had to wait. Then some of the girls got off--one of them actually remembered me and kissed me on the cheek (am I a regular or what?)--so I went down, and waited in the lobby for a second, cause another old guy was ringing the bell outside. No answer, so he asked me to open the door. I did, and continued waiting. Then another girl came in who recognized me, so thats when I went out to get some air.

I'll tell you what I felt like seeing all those guys outside the door. I felt like one of the girls. This is what we look like to them. Sweaty, eager, waiting. It was not a good feeling. Its cool to ring the bell, in the usually empty building, being welcomed in discreetly by the hot secretary, and escorted in a private room and being offered a drink. Thats the feeling I like. I have my reasons for going to the private sessions, but I have no reason to go to the parties. I probably will, because I am hooked on feet, period. And I wouldve wrote none of this if i had gotten there 2 minutes later. But I just felt very bad, and had to share it here.

Oh, so I finally did go out, went for a walk to the corner I thought, thinking I'd go back in a few minutes, but I just kept walking. I only feel bad that my name was possibly in place of somebody else who wanted to go but couldnt cause the guestlist was full.
