Personally, I tend to go for the natural look. However, adding nail polish can definitely enhance a woman's feetures! FIASCo also brought up a good point with skin tones. I believe, with the right nail color, it can compliment a woman's complexion. Speaking of colors, I really don't have a favorite...as long as it's bright.
Then again, DARK RED looks good on almost anything!

1) Any shade of Red (Metallic, midnight red, maroon, burgundy, etc.)
...and just for honorable mention, I also like Metallic Silver, Black, Neon Orange, Metallic Sky Blue. I just hapen to enjoy anything that isn't glittery, or nail art that isn't overly trashy.

I found it interesting that lover_of_feet11 mentioned enjoying any nailpolishes that aren't glittery, yet he also mentioned metallic pink & metallic red being two favorites of his. I guess semantics definitely come into play here, but I've always thought of metallics as being somewhat glittery themselves, albeit to a milder degree than outright glittery polishes. In any event I love 'em all, metallic, glittery, sparkly, or whatever they're called! hehe If it's vibrant, lively, loud, colorful and strikingly attention-commanding, then I love it. My top five polish colors at the moment would probably be:
#5 Purple (metallic & preferably darker rather than lighter) #4 Orange (hot neon) #3 Red (metallic or classic) #2 Blue (metallic & preferably darker rather than lighter) #1 Pink (hot neon - the official color of the 1980s!)

I like almost any color except brown. I don't know. Brown just looks like the girl was kickin' dog poop or something like those grungy lookin' things you see in those lamisil commercials.

Metallic polish, in my eyes, is the kind that is colorful, and has somewhat of a chrome tint to it. That would happen to be the kind I enjoy.
Now the glittery kind, if painted on incorrectly, looks more like glitter art on a kindergartener's art project. Neat or not, I don't like it as much as I do the Chrome-like Metallic polish.
Thank You Calico Jack for giving me me a reason to put things in better perspective. I hope it's at least a bit more understandable now that I've described it in-depth.
