A thread started awhile back on "do women like men who like feet". The thread has 17 pages and spans 2-3 years. It's good to check it out so one can gauge the general perception of our fetish and calibrate their behaviour.
It's funny to see that many men not on this forum dig pretty feet. I also noted that the more educated a woman is the more likely she'll be open to foot fetish. Just a trend I noticed.

I personally believe that's a HUGE factor in whether they even try to understand someone liking their feet.
Maybe it's finally changing, but so many parents still attach those negative connotations to feet, that they're "dirty" and "smelly", etc. Consequently their kids grow thinking their feet are gross.
Now, with the advent of the internet and kids getting online so young, many girls will encounter foot fetish information and discover that many boys love feet, which will probably sway many of them into a more accepting attitude about their feet.

You should see how my mom is when it comes to feet. Every time she has her pic taken, she tells the photographer NOT to get her feet in the photo! She hates her feet to death. She will only allow her foot photographed if they are all covered up in socks or shoes.

I guess I'm pretty open to it because my parents never put those types of attitudes towards feet at me. They were very into the thought of me making all my own choices and preferences. (Hasn't all been a good thing, but I respect the thought) My little sister (age 3) is definitely going to be into feet. As a baby she was always playing with all the girls feet. She's always wanting me to paint her toe nails and showing me her "pretty feet". My step dad is totally freaked out by it.
