Catsman, good point..there seems to be few and few left who believe in the Constitution anymore. Maher just likes to pick fights like any other stupid talking head moron, this usually is the root cause of all the hate on both sides in this country because of idiots like him.

Maher is about lefty as you can get. A true libertarian believes the federal government has two main obligations: defend the borders, and maintain a stable currency. That's it! All the other crapola the feds do is without Constitutional basis. Libertarians basically want the federal govenrment out of their lives. So Maher is way way way not a Libertarian.
You know, I don't follow Maher a whole lot, but for the most part, when I have paid attention to him, he is generally advocating for the federal government to stay out of people's lives.
