The last time a solar eclipse occured was in June 1999. On September 11th of that year an earthquake shook Athens with a power of 6.9 Richter scale and all the aftermath it brings. Thousands of people homeless, hundreds dead and wounded and million others terrified. Although a seismic place, Athens (and in general GreecE), has never had a similar (tectonic quake on the ground) in contradiction to the one in 1981 which occured at sea.
I hope none of the above will ever happen again in such a maixmum scale because of the eclispse and we all have to pay respects to these kind (and others) phenomena.
Gimme.
PS: We are in the same hemisphere Ledeamon. I just had to give a general place of where I was looking at it
