I, for one, fall asleep very easily on most night before going to bed. Before hitting the hay each night, I lay in bed and read a magazine briefly before falling asleep. I'm aware that you don't retain as much of that information you as I would while reading it fully awake. Let's hear everyone else's traditions before going to bed each night??

On occasion I read or watch a little tv...But for the most part I cant even remember putting my head o n the pillow...But have always gone to sleep quickly...Unless theres a lady in my bed ofcoarse lol

I'm pretty much disciplined like a lot of you guys here. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out like a light. I can't read in bed because I actually fall asleep before I can finish 1 page. Funny thing is as soon as I wake up from the alarm I literally leap out of bed in seconds and start getting dressed and ready for a jog at 5:00am. I was never in the military, but I bet there's lots of you dude's that were or are that are just like this.

Jeez, I'm practically an insomniac myself. I swear, there have been times when I've gone to bed, and lay awake in bed for 4 friggin' hours. I don't what to do sometimes. When I do finally get to sleep, I sleep fairly soundly, but I'll wake up for most any kind of noise these days. It's really frustrating sometimes.

I'm exactly the same - the wife doesn't understand how I can do it. I haven't needed coffee in the seven years since I enlisted.

whenever i take my socks off (if i wear them at all) or get out of the shower, and before bed everynight, i HAVE to have lotion on my feet, otherwise i don't feel right.

Same here Mike...I just hammer a load out and Im passed out about 5 mins later! If I dont..such as tonight...the g/f is staying up watching a movie tonight...well...this is gonna be a late one tonight...plus I have to work at 9 tomorrow morning...its RRSP season after all!

Funny enough I broke my tradition of book reading and had to beat it before sleepin! Maybe this thread has me aware of other ways to go to bed. Me beating off was totally subliminal in regards to this thread.
