Who really thinks the government is going to bail out the porno industry now?
"With all this economic misery and people losing all that money, sex is the farthest thing from their mind," Flynt is quoted as saying on TMZ. "It's time for Congress to rejuvenate the sexual appetite of America." -nydailynews.com
horsecrap! It has nothing to do with the recession; more people are finding more and better ways to get free porn. Not to mention the increasing popularity of amateur video/image posting. When i saw that headline on the news last night, I laughed out loud!

This is hilarious, but there is no way the porn industry should get any sort of funding or subsidies from the government.

Guys, that was the publisher of "Hustler" magazine Larry Flint just trying to get himself some publicity while taking a jab at all the big companies that are asking for the big cash bail outs. He certainly isn't serious.
If you remember years ago he offered a large cash reward for someone to come forward that had an affair with a Republican congressman during Clinton's impeachment during the oral office blow job scandal. He's a funny character!

Not that I care much for Larry Flynt but his bailout proposal did make me rather chuckle. "Bail-Outs" are the new label for pork-barrel, earmark spending.
For those who are concerned that there was any sincerity in the appeal for a bailout, please bear in mind that it was truly Porn that has driven the astonishing technical advances we have seen over the last 30 years, starting with home-video.
"Faster, Better, Cheaper" may have been a NASA mantra but I think they got it from the Porn Industry.
