I just got a memory card reader in order to transfer my video images onto either a hardrive or disc. Which is easiest to do?
Aanyways if I store it on my computer such as in a my documents or a Nero file I'd like to know how can I go about protecting it.
I mean what's the best way to make sure that Im the only one that can access it. Can you set up a password, etc?
I don't want others who use my computer to be able to access the downloaded video images with ease.
They'll think im a complete freak. Maybe.

What's the best and easiest way to go about transferring images from cell phone cam to memory card reader onto computer file, etc.
sOMeone here before told me about setting up a photobucket account so Ill keep that im mind also.

Okay one minor glitch with this you should know about: if you're downloading things straight from a site into the locked folder, then the next person who wants to download something will automatically be redirected to the folder as the place they want to save whatever it is they're downloading.

Basically, if you download them into an "open" folder" and then cut and paste them into the locked folder, you'll be fine [Smile]

Also the names of the files come up in "my recent documents" tab on the start menu. Either remove the tab or just don't name them "FOOT PORN" [Tongue]

Oh yeah and be cautious that having a locked folder wont arouse suspicion...The way I do it (despite not having a shared computer) is make zillions and zillions of empty folders within folders within folders using a route only you KNOW, you can place them safely in one of them [Tongue]

But whatever works, works.

I have used the folder within a folder method with success. Now I just use an external HD and put it up when I am done
