Something was weird about Hals post,- oh my god its full of stars-, I couldn't put my finger on for a while. Then I got it; wasnt the computer in the 2001 movie called 'Hal 9000'. Im not for sure, havent seen the movie in a while, but I think it was!

Yes, it was HAL 9000. (I´m a big Kubrick fan)
Arthur C. Clarke (the author of the book) used the letters HAL because they were similar to IBM (the leading computer company at that time). If you go back one letter from "IBM" you end up with "HAL". Clever, eh?
Gimme, I don`t know the answer to your quote, but I´ve read it before. Is it from a Greek movie?

And a little hint: Although based on a Greek novel it was made famous to all cine-maniacs worldwide for the role acting and the depth of its meanings within it
