I have a friend* who was banned from Paypal almost a decade ago, because he used it to pay for foot stuff and they have a strict policy against using their service for porn. And since you need your social security number to sign up, the ban is permanent (however using someone else's Paypal to get something, they have no mechanism to stop *that*).
Now, on Instagram, many foot models or aspiring foot models say they will do customs, skype, etc., and will only receive payment via Paypal. When I started seeing this with some frequency, I thought, ok, maybe Paypal has relaxed their policy on using their service to buy porn.
No, not exactly.
Google searches are turning up that Paypal, ironically, don't mind if you get PHYSICAL porn related goods through their service (I'm guessing fleshlights and Real Dolls and the like), its DIGITAL porn that they will ban your account over. Digital porn is exactly what getting, say, a custom vid from an instagram model would count as.
So are people just constantly taking a risk here? On the one hand, I haven't seen a plethora of reports of people saying they were banned immediately for ordering something digital from a model on instagram, but on the other hand maybe I haven't been looking in the right place. Plus I never see any kickback from people who like pics on their pages along the lines of "Do you have another way to pay? I don't want to get banned from Paypal".
It is entirely possible when its time to pay they call themselves something innocuous, like if their name is blondewithwidefeet they'd instead put their name is Jennifer.smith or something similar.
Just wondering what the deal is. Maybe I'm missing something. Ever since finally getting an instagram account I'm seeing a LOT of models offering this and strictly through Paypal, with no other option.
* = And no, its not me. I still have my Paypal account and I've never used it for anything other than buying stuff off ebay and stuff related to phones (callings cards, unlock codes, etc).

Paypal is stupid....Most are using money apps and exchanging for items in their Amazon wishlist to do customs.

That's an interesting workaround.
Another friend who does foot vids told me he had a customer try and pretend he didn't get the video to essentially get a chargeback and get the video for free. My friend sent Paypal proof the guy did buy the video, the guy changed his story to I didn't know what I was buying give me a refund anyway, Paypal took the money from my friend but he was never told if they gave it back to the customer or not.
Neither account was banned, but still, they took the money back. And this example is more recent (2014).
Ah well too risky I guess. I wish Paypal had a porn-only division like PaypalX.

And very likely won't get it right anyways...
And since you'd pay through paypal, can't complain. D'oh!
I've come to the conclusion that's the idea on their side (the so-called model on Instagram) but nobody has taken them up on it for that very reason. No one has said if they were banned or not cause no one is buying them anyway.

that's another problem i have
on clips4sale you get a pic and 10 second preview of the clip, so you have an idea of what you are buying
I wonder how that is set up, if its automatic or if the store owner can pick. For instance, if the video has a loooong title sequence, the preview clip might be 10 seconds of that title sequence. It tells you nothing about the clip and in fact a lot of times this happens on a vid that's 10-20 minutes long.

I remember seeing a price list of I think TanksTattooedFeet clips and was blown away. $40 for a 4 minute FJ Clip. I'm sorry but get FUCKED. I've seen top notch FJ clip stores selling high quality FJ clips that are 13 mins long for 14 bucks. Tough to fuckin' say if I'm gonna throw 40 god damn dollars at your iPhone video that maybe lasts 5 minutes. Blows my mind how they get away with charging that kind of money. I'm all for supporting models and their endeavors but fuck, make it reasonable.

PayPal doesn't need to know, or care, about what you're actually buying. They only monitor the money...AND THE MESSAGES attached to the payments. Where guys get in trouble is when they put a note in the payment, something like... "I'm gonna sniff your socks and jack my cock so hard..." That's how they get banned. Foot Queens, Goddesses, Findoms, Strippers...they all say "do NOT put anything in the message area."
Also, don't check the option "goods and services." Just check "sending money to a friend." That's another way to keep them out of your business.
I've bought socks, tributed foot Queens, etc...never had a problem.

I need that video!
The feet belong to Milly of Brazilfeet.com fame. The sniffer is Latifa of Two Girls/One Cup fame. The video seems to have a bunch of names that change depending on the site but on the newmfx.com site it's "Unforgettable Fragrance".

Thanks. I read to him your words and he said that's how they got him. He had his site set up to accept donations, and when people donated they were putting *in the messages* something pertaining to the fact that its a foot site. Paypal saw it, said hell no (probably lol) and he got banned.
Mystery solved. Thanks again.
