The last two times I have visited wikifeet.com my antivirus software has blocked a major intrusion attempt from what appeared to be some resemblance of rensomware. Has anyone else had this experience?

This is why I always have uBlock Origin active, no exceptions (despite how many websites beg you to whitelist them). I've been infected by malicious ads in the past, so now I take no chances whatsoever.

Yeah, the last time I went on wikifeet was over the summer, and I got a virus and had to quickly disconnect, scan and clean. I have since avoided that website. I'm sure the owner knows or if he doesn't by now, then he needs to switch to a reliable host.

Most malware tend to come from ads, and Google along with other ad services are very awful at vetting just what kind of ads get through their services.
Like I said before, this is why I have uBlock Origin active at all times.
