I second this...although I don't mind a little "past due" length, shall we say, though a trimming ought to take place within a week or so thereafter. The long toe nail thing--grown in the way finger nails sometimes are--grosses me out. I find it tawdry, to say the least.

As for nail color, I have some favorites, yet I've noticed the spectrum of my tastes waxing a bit as of late. The classics are red, pink, and not least white french tip. Although not a fan of neon colors in other matters, I began liking them on my wife's toes,a predilection for what could be described as fluorescent orange. Lately, I've been curious as to how a turquoise, pearlescent blue-green, or electric blue would look on her toes, like very curious

All in all, though, there's this shade of pink--think Easter Edition M&Ms--that is my favorite, as that is the color my wife wears for me most of the year.
