Feet usually smell like cheese, this is practically a stereotype
Not by conicidence, it's basically the same bacteria responsible for it (though feet usualy have different smell types as well).
I imagine people without this fetish can't imagine the appeal of it. Fetishes are born in very early stage of life, by specific combination of events/triggers and you cannot Undo them. In my opinion, it's not the smell by itself, but the context in which it appears; combination of an attractive woman with cute, well kept feet that happen to be "cheesy" after a long day = instant turn-on for me. Smelling cheese by itself,... well, it's just cheese.

In regard to what you said about fetishes being born early in life.
Mine certainly was.
When I was little, I used to ask every female babysitter I had to smell their feet.
Most thought I was a silly kid, so they said yes.
I can distinctly remember one girl, even after she took off her shoes/socks, her feet never smelled.
She told me that she did not have "cheesy feet"
I think that may be where I first got the saying. That, and also from the friend who told me that his sister's feet smelled like "cold cheese".

There are certain notes if you're down there for long enough. I will say things like deep peach with warm moist earth notes or deep musk with cantaloupe notes. etc, etc.
It's all about the bacteria on the bottoms of her feet and how they react when exposed to air, her vaginal health, believe it or not and what she eats and consumes. A meat eating smokers feet definitely smell much different than a non smoking vegan, for example. Age also is a factor, with young women's pheromones usually being all over the place, vs a 55 year old's pheromones. Etc.

I hate cheesy smelling feet I've smelled that on plenty of chicks in my lifetime and I was done. I love the popcorn, corn chip smell. My favorite is the vinegar funk. Unfortunately I can count on one hand how girls a I worshiped with that scent. I'm always chasing that scent.

Some people like smells, now to what degree that depends. I have no problem with sweaty feet, I happen to like it. Do I have my limits, of course I do. If feet smell like rotten blue cheese then I am typically out.

Rare to have a cheese smell. Usually guys get that odor after working in construction boots. Women usually get a lite musky smell.

I call it a female musky aroma and if it’s enhanced by leathery shoe smell, it’s even better. That has become my favorite part of my foot fetish.
