I just finished downloading the update on Eden, and the picture quality is great! Those same crystal clear images that have kept me as a member all these years. I know some of the members prefer the larger size, but for me, size is not as important as quality. Thanks for listening to our concerns. Keep up the great work!

What does this come down to, really? Aspect ratio.
With the introduction of the new camera back in 2010, the aspect ratio of the images produced by the site changed from 4:3 (used by most digital cameras, and formerly the accepted standard for video) to 3:2.
The aspect ratio used for the videos in 16:9, the new standard. I think the images should follow suit and be produced with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
My preferred resolution is 1600x900. That's the "perfect fit" for my monitor. But if others want to go bigger, I'm all for it.

Heh. Well hopefully I can find pic and video sizes that everyone will be happy with Kind of like trying to find girls that majority want to see barefoot!

I'm fine with them as they are now. I just thought it was important to post a rebuttal to the OP. His concerns are not my concerns; picture size that was cutting edge in 2004 isn't nearly as impressive in 2013.
