This week Amelia's hot, sweaty feet are the newest addition! On the day we shot this set it was sweltering hot. We made our way to a park I found online that featured a lake with a trail that circled the entire thing. What I didn't realize, however, was the parking lot was about half a mile from the trail and then the bridge I saw in the photos was about another mile away from where we entered the trail. Needless to say, Amelia and I were a sweaty mess by time we got to the bridge.
After a few minutes we decided to go ahead and shoot even though people were regularly coming by. This was a popular trail for people to do their cardio, apparently. Nevertheless, we walked all that way and I wasn't turning around. I also wasn't mean enough to make her walk another mile in that heat to find another spot. So the bridge it was.
During the shoot the people just kept coming by. At the start I'd stop and pause, especially if there were kids coming by (I always do that). But it got to the point of if we didn't keep shooting, we'd just keep baking in the sun. I said oh well and just kept shooting. Unless someone was right on us, or a kid came by, my camera was blatantly pointed right at her feet. Countless people saw and I didn't care. No pun intended, it was kind of hot that people walked by seeing that. Her feet are cute! Let them see me in admiration of them!

P.S. The reason her feet got slightly dusty in these pictures is due to how damp they were. Every time she stuck her feet onto the ground to move, it clung to them. Luckily I got to brush them off over and over...
