A gorgeous Chinese girl sitting near the stairway going down to the avenue. I sat down to shoot and she sat straight up -- at first I feared to chew me out, but she was just curious I think, and seemed to find it an odd and amusing adventure.
After quite a while of that, she reclined again and I was able to catch about ten minutes of her beautiful face, silky hair, and her high-arched, tapered-toe, rather sweaty soles. She had a pair of those gigantic, very fashionable high heels very neatly set up on the ground under her chair.

Yep, I agree! Though I didn't hear her talking so I don't know whether she's an import or an American girl. Her coy behavior suggested she's from China though.
