i just saw a CHANEL commercial here is NY that features a very beautiful and young girl, and a one point the camera not only stops at her feet but also closed in on them, it kind of zooms in and stays for so long that my wife that was next to me looked at me and say "shit", as to say," that was too obvious". I'm telling you guys, this was like saying," here, look at her feet, they are perfect, sexy and gorgeous".

i dont think the camera is focusing on the feet per se to appeal to us but is really focusing on the curves of her foot and soles.. which is part of many hypothesis's on the origin of the foot fetish.. and this video highlights that perfectly.

This has nothing to do with feet, or foot fetish becoming mainstream. About 4 seconds out of 44 total are showing her feet. They just happened to be there since she is naked. They aren't going to try and sell a product meant for the lips by showcasing a part of the body on the opposite end
The commercial is actually using the tube of lipstick as a phallic symbol, the lipstick popping out is supposed to be a dude popping a boner. She slathers on the lipstick to draw attention to her lips, and maybe he will get to stick his dick in there.
