Some of you remember Carmen from Soles of Silk. She was a past feature girl on Wu's Feetlinks. Some time ago she moved away, but recently came back. It has been hard tracking her down, but we had made plans for today to do some shoots. I also asked her to do some tomorrow too, especially now that this has happened. Here is the story...
I spent hours at a park with Carmen and did a few foot shoots as well as some really nice black and white non-foot artsy photos. I come home and push the card into the card reader and get a corruption error. I place the card back into the camera and I can see the photos/videos still there and reviewable. So I try again and this time I get asked to format the card - which I say no to of course. I restart my PC and same thing. Then I try my Mac as a last ditch effort. The Mac has been my savior on more than one occassion. Well, not today. The Mac reads the card as empty. Back into the camera, now it says the same thing "no images on card." PC the card says empty.
Over 200 photos, some video and black and white photos lost today of Carmen. I am glad I booked her for a second day to do this. We're going to go back and repeat the shoots for the most part, but that scratches my ideas that I had for tomorrow. I am really so annoyed right now that I don't feel like working on my site at all. I had told her she would be this week's coming soon and she loved the black and white shots we did so much!

man that sucks1 technology can still play us hard sometimes. i hope you can re do the photoshoot with no other surprises

Providing you haven't reformatted your card, have you tried using BadCopyPro http://www.jufsoft.com/ ? If not, it works wonders. Give it a shot. If you need a serial number, PM me.

JustJoe is my new hero! I was able to recover the info on the card. Four total photos were garbled, but I'll take that over losing over 200! A big thanks bro and be sure to contact me ASAP! This forum can be such a help.

You're very welcome. Always like to help out a fellow foot lover, and besides, I know your pain when you thought you lost all those pics. I felt it before. By the way, if you ever need any other tips, let me know. Take care.

Haven't had such a catastrophe yet but have marked the site now as a hedge against future disasters. Personally, I want to thank JustJoe as there just can't be enough photos of Carmen!

The BS happen to me as well. I had taken photos of my family from family trip and technology (memory card) just went dead on me. I can really relate to your pain, but I learn not to jake up any more photos that is for sure.
