If a person turns to their non foot loving friends or perhaps their significant other etc and tells them something on the lines of " i like feet" or " i have a foot fetish", are they more likley to be recieve more negativity and be laughed at or ridiculed more if that fetishist is a man or woman? IS there a difference or do you think its the same and they will get labelled as a freak regardless?

Also another interesting question, does the gender of the non foot person being told about it make a difference as to the level of freaking out and such?

men by far. The main reason is that there are more of us who are out there and open with our love for feet than women.

Interesting point. Mind you, although two men may not be seen as cool, its accepted on some level. Perhaps if mainstream media portrayed two women in foot activity, i wonder if that would be considered cool, especially if the women were super hot or something.

As far as more men being open about it than women are, I still wonder though, hypathetically if women actually did open up about this sorta thing, would they get much of a bad reaction like guys do.

Because if its a case that women wouldnt be seen as freaks like men are, then perhaps if more female foot fetishists came out, then people may think twice about this whole "freak" factor.

I mean one would think, "why is it ok for a woman to be a foot fetishist where as a man gets a really bad rap", that would lead to people not seeing it that bad at all.

For instance, brook burke, ulrika johnson and Dita Von Teese have foot fetishes, I wonder what non foot folk think about them.

Yes, guys are far more likely to be ridiculed.

Yeah i also think this may be the case, especially because i saw a video on youtube of a woman confessing about her foot fetish, and nearly all the comments were possitive, i didnt see any "weirdo" or " your a freak" comments, rather saying that she is good for being proud of what she likes.

If only more female foot fetishists were known to non foot folk.
