I have a funny story about a pedicure that I saw today. I work with my mom, and we had to go to the mall to meet a client. After the meeting, my mom went to the nail salon to get a manicure, while I just walked around. When I came back, she wasnt quite done yet, so I just hung around the salon. In the back corner of the salon, were the pedicure chairs. This cute blonde girl who was probably, late 20s, or early 30s, was sitting in one of the chairs, and was getting a pedicure. I had a fairly good view of her soles, but of course didnt stare, and tried to just glance out of the corner of my eye. What drew my attention to her, was that apparently, the pedicure she was getting, was tickling her feet like mad, and she kept squealing hysterically, and wiggling her toes. It was apparently her first professional pedicure, and she was cracking up, saying something like hhehehehehehe! omg I never knew pedicures could tickle this much! It was the funniest thing! Finally, the girl got finished with the pedicure, paid her money, and left. She looked like Patricia Arquette from the TV show Medium.
Has anyone else ever witnessed a random pedicure? If so, was the girl just sitting there getting it, or did she say it tickled? I will be very interested to hear feedback on this topic. This girl was cute, and from what I could see, she had good looking soles.

My girlfriend and I occasionally get pedicures/manicures together. It's very romantic, plus she usually lets me pick the colors! No, I've never observed a girl getting tickled by it!

Thanks for the reply, dougie. I've never gotten a pedicure, but I do know that some girls say that they cant get pro pedicures, and need to do it themselves, because it's too ticklish for them to sit through. In fact, last year, the girl who used to cut my hair, told me that her very hot 20 something daughter, has to do her own pedicures, because the daughter's feet are so ticklish, that she cant sit through a professional one.
Anyhow, that's great about your gf and you getting manis and pedis together.

You would be surprised how many girls havn't had it done or are first timers.I am always getting mine done so it comes up in conversation a lot.Many of my friends have just always painted their own their whole lives.The first time i ever went was for a wedding, and wouldn't have thought anything about it if it hadn't been suggested by one of the other girls in our group for everyone to do.
Mona, I actually didnt know that so many girls were first timers. I thought that most girls have had pedicures at some point in their lives, even just to try it.

Mona is correct, Spas and day Spas are a fairly new concept and are just really being accepted as a form of reward for woman. Most women in the past, just painted their own toes. I know I did for many years and for me its only been the last few years that I find myself frequently going to the spa for a pedicure.
Once you go, its hard to not go. I don't think I could ever go back to doing my own nails.

You're welcome. I'm sure some guys would say, "That's so gay!" But it really isn't, if you're doing it with your gal. And I must admit I love putting my feet in those baths!
