Last night on the radio, I heard a topic- pedicures a do or a don't for a male. Honestly I say a don't. I like to walk by the nail salon peeking in and seeing girls. Though they did say girls look for a guy who has smooth hands and smooth feet. I never ever go barefoot or wear sandals, so unless a girl is getting very intimate with me, she won't see much, though I can't complain about myself.

I don't know what to think about guys getting pedicures. I don't try to peek into pedicure salons cause when I walk past them, all the ladies feet are hidden or they're in the back of the salon. Basically, the guy is taking care of his feet, which is good hygiene. Plus, so many guys wear flip flops and I don't want to see men's feet, so I look away.
So basically, if I'm with my wife and she's getting a pedicure and a guy is getting one, I'm just going to look away.

I guess it is taking care of your feet. I take care of mine but not to the full extent of going out to get a pedicure.

I would never get a pedicure and I really think alot women frown upon guys who do. That's not to say there isn't plenty of women in the "do" category, but i'd say the majority are either "don't" or indifferent.

have you ever had that fantasy about men wearing flip flops where all their spines are suddenly ripped out through their backs and they collapse in bloody heaps. I do too, like a few times every day. I want to know what that ones all about. Something to do with one of my coworkers. If your a guy and i can hear you walking from the other room, it better be a stomp, not a flip. Men do not have feet, they have boots.
There is an asian massage place nearby my office where the men often will get a pedicure along with their massage. I dont get it.

Every time i encounter this topic i immediately go ignorant . so in advance. sorry. here i go. I don't give a flying FCKU if you homos want to keep your pretty little toes and feet all smooth and pretty(at this point allow me to vomit)i would really appreciate if, whenever you are done at the feet-beauty salon, you stay away from any type of opened toe shoes or flops. see. some of us, foot-guys don't want to see your feet. thank you. i did say thanks.

NOVICES say what you want...But in hot weather or after playing basketball I see nothing wrong with a guy taking care of his feet (doesnt have to be a pedicure) and wearing mens sandals.. (personally I dont wear flip flops)
1)your more likely to get fungus both nail and foot covering you feet! 2)Feet need air! 3)Its more comfortable wearing mens sandals.. 4)Not that I get pedicures, but a guy IS allowed to take care of his body..
Geez-What part of this is so hard to understand!!

I moved from NY to Florida in '97, and almost immediately thereafter became a "barefooter."
I very rarely wear shoes, and at work, I typically would wear flip-flops. Recently, though, I "had to" resume wearing closed shoes because I bought a motorcycle and I use that for transportation the vast majority of the time, and no way am I riding in flip-flops.
I'm no homo, but I keep my feet well groomed. I went with a pair of chick friends once, probably 8 years ago, and we all got pedicures. I even had them paint my toenails silver--simply for the fuck of it, and to see if anyone at work noticed. NO ONE NOTICED! I had to tell people, and only then did they look. (I removed the polish that night.) P.S. Chick friend paid for my pedicure, not me.
It's not something I would ever make a habit of--I think it's absurd to pay other people to do your grooming for you.
But you guys who get so flustered about seeing guys' feet in flip-flops or barefoot in public, fuckin' GET OVER IT!

Nope.. something I would never go for myself. Don't get me wrong, I do tend to take care of myself, including my feet, but would never go as far as a pedicure. I have been taking more care of my feet since my ex took the foot fetish a bit further and actually started having an interest in my feet too. (very weird at the beginning.. but I have to say I am not all against it now ) I just don't think guys feet are very good looking, and therefore dont need to be made prettier... just hide them away, hehe! I don't mind guys wearing flip flops/sandals and so on... if you dont like it then just dont look.

I'm not here to bash those males who go barefoot or wear sandals. To each their own, it's just something I don't do. Understood if you live in Florida or you just finished playing basketball, it's probably only healthy you take care of your feet.

Quote"so its the middle of summer, it's 90 degrees out, and i'm supposed to wear boots?" Answer #1. YES. Answer #2. No, you can also wear light sneakers, and other soft shoes. as long as they ARE NOT opened toe.

Part of the blessings of being a male is the low level of expectation; what makes a gentleman is surpassing that level of expectation. To accomplish the latter, I simply make sure that my nails are trimmed, well shaped (not obsessively so) and, by all means, keep my feet clean. I wear clean socks every day and go barefoot as much as possible (yeah, my feet get dirty but this prevents most of the fungal and bacterial problems).
In large part, it is matter of "Do unto others..." but you guys who like stinky feet probably shouldn't put that axiom into practice.
