Okay, I am just curious about something that happened to my Wife. The other day she was in her Co-worker's (male) office, talking about business. That day she was wearing a business pant suit, and some Steve Madden kitten-heel thong/sandals I bought for her...and sporting a fresh pedicure I gave her over the weekend, crimson red polish, along with her silver toe ring and silver anklet...Her legs were crossed, and she was facing him...and during the conversation, He tells her, "Those are very nice shoes you are wearing". She simply said Thank you and carried on with business.
Now my question is, do you think he is one of our kind, or just complimenting her and meant nothing by it?
I am simply curious, she thinks he was just complimenting her...but it is just unusual for a man to compliment a woman's footwear unless he is one of us. Let me know your thoughts plese.

Totally possible that he likes feet. See if this happens again. Or if he continues to compliment her.

Though there's technically nothing wrong with it, I find it a rarity for a man to compliment a women's shoes or feet unless they are "of our persuasion."

i've got a few male friends who will comment on feet and shoes because to them it gives them a 'competitive' edge over other guys. to them.. it's more original than saying you look hot and will reach the woman easier.
so to them.. it's more about standing out of the crowd of compliments the lady gets. if the woman is single.. they hope it's a way to get noticed more than the average compliment.
so.. don't make a big deal of it.. i mean.. i love it when guys compliment my lady's feet and shoes.. i get really excited to know others feel the way I do (not all the way the way i do of course).. because now i can tell her that i'm not the only one with the view that she looks hot!!
i'd take it as a compliment and move on. if he starts hitting on her.. it's a total different thing.. he's the boss and should know better.
other than that.. just take it as a compliment to you.. you got great taste and other men notice and are complimenting your skills in choosing a hot woman with sexy feet!!! and you do have good taste in getting her those shoes and pedicure.. so.. other men are indirectly complimenting your skills!!

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate them. I am not worried about it at all, and I feel as you do RPM...I love knowing another finds her so attractive, especially her feet. *S* I did take it as a compliment as well. Thank you all again, and I would like to hear from others too.

I don't think the guy is "one of us" just by making a comment about her shoes. As RPM said, there are some guys out there who will compliment something on a woman that they normally don't hear as an effort to get extra "brownie points". So you really can't say one way or the other if the guy is definitely into women's feet or not just by that one incident.
However, if your wife discovers this guy openly staring at her feet at work on an ongoing basis when she's wearing sexy shoes revealing a lot of foot flesh, it's possible he could have a shoe or foot fetish. Until that happens, there really isn't a problem.

I would agree, I think it's simply a compliment. However Kim works in Real Estate for a very large Fortune 500 company and I'm sure there are foot guys there..... Who knows, but hey isn't it hot to know that other men are checking out your wife

Gosh this is a slam dunk for me to figuar out. The answer is: a mind game that involves a little role play. Have her remove one of her shoes then extend her arm as if to hand the shoe to her boss. At this point simply ask the boss if he can tell if the shoes are leather or man made? Have her state that the shoes are really hot and unconfortable. What guy with a shoe or foot fetish could resist that temptation. To add further animation to the effect she can then massage her feet and or turn and position her feet at various angles and even wiggle her toes! The answer will be revealed in the responces. Will he take the shoe? Will he smell the shoe? Will he offer a foot massage? No harm no foul all done in the name of innocents. Best performed on a Friday right before lunch time or late afternoon. No he is clearly has a foot thing or a shoe thing a remote chance he actually like the shoes(maybe a cross dresser). I have had that same situation with my wife. Some dude complimented her on her shoes. She had just been to a have a pedicure a couple of days before.
I would do the same, thing compliment the shoes to she her feet. They will happly show them and you can have good look at her feet. next if she has a nice colour on the nails compliment that. Also be clued up on shoes (kitten heels/wedges/flip flops/slides). If you talk about such things they feel you have femine side.
There is girl I work I do it to. It is great and they do not think you are a wako.

Hi, A nice post first of all, I used to sell ladies shoes for a living and although this might be hard to believe you can get some people who like footwear and not neccesarily be a foot fetishist. Some customers would come back and although I never openly admitted I had a foot fetish some customers knew okay no problem for me I am what I am. I had one customer who bought his wife shoes because he actually liked the shoes she wore, he did not infact have a foot fetish just liked good looking shoes on his wife, so my theory is there are men who simply like sexy good looking shoes and have no intrest whatsoever in foot fetish.

It's probably just a complement...if she had on open toe shoes though and he complemented he pedicure or said she has pretty toes or anything like that...then it's something more.
At my work a few weeks ago, some woman wore open shoe toes and a guy stopped by her and said she had sexy toes. It was weird though b/c it was on the same day that Sexual Harrassment classes were occuring. She never reported him or anything, but she did find it strange b/c that's not exactly a normal comment to say at work. But complementing shoes, there's probalby not much wrong with that.
