Got a question. I'm between Indiana and Kansas and I've had some good times at some libraries there. But a friend of mine thats also into soles had his camera taken by staff security and told not to return. What can you do if your cameras taken. Will he ever get it back or is it now permantly in the hands of university police there? I ask because I want to know if I mess up like he did what I can do to make sure I wont lose all the good pics I took?

Since I have SOME experience in this matter, I would like to say have never gone into a college library except to study. They're too infamous for foot fetish activity.
I'd say goodbye to the camera. Would anyone really want to claim it?

in addition to the great advice.. download your pix off your camera every day.. keep a few scenic shots and regular shots.. so if some one caught you.. most of your pix wouldn't be of feet.
don't carry your entire foot library with you.
and also.. libraries are know feet siting areas.. get a bit more creative.. or risk getting busted

Well personally I'm not really into the candid thing, but if I was I'm very sure I could pull it off with a telephoto lens, distance, a bag or backpack with mesh side, and a remote control for my camera. Also, you could program your camera to save pictures into a hidden folder, where it would only display shots from another one, presumably 'normal' shots you could use for plausible deniability. And honestly if I was so bad at covert photography that I got caught by rent a cops, I'd promptly get a new hobby.

1. Stay out of the library except to use the bathroom. 2. Don't be a creep, slinking around the carrels and books. 3. Grow some balls and take legit pics. 4. If you can't grow the balls, enjoy the fine work of folks like J.R. at CFA. He and others have done the hard work for you. There's also the Florida foot guy, GGN at CBF, heck, even the pedisole junction dude will scratch your itch. 5. If all you lost was your camera, consider yourself lucky. You could wind up on the crime blotter, or the local news if it's a slow day. Loss of dignity, loss of privacy. 6. Do you have ANY CONCEPT of how many people get busted in libraries for sexual misadventures? No, you don't. Search the crime beat of any state flagship university's newspaper. At least once a month some guy gets busted wanking in the lobby. Drunks and homeless guys frequently *chase* girls into the bathrooms. Footguys crawl on their bellies under the tables and steal shoes. They get caught. Wow, whatta surprise. Didn't see that comin'. I'm tired of these assholes.
If you get busted creeping around in a campus library, you deserve every bad thing that happens to you. THIS is why people think we FF guys are creeps; THIS is what gives us a bad name; THIS is what causes the "normals" to lump us with pederasts and stalker/rapists; THIS is why a lot of girls are afraid of us. Alright, look, sorry to get on my big 'ol soapbox, but this kind of stuff really gets my nuts in a twist.
If you want pictures of feet at a college, you're going to have to pay for them one way or another. Either subscribe to a specialty website (pay with cash), or be a different man (pay with character).

HOLY SH*T dude! It's like you were reading straight from my heart! This is exactly right and it is exactly how people give us a bad name! Freaks need to stop doing those creepy things! Fellas take some good advice and try to avoid those creepy temptations when possible.
In fact, don't even try to tempt yourself by looking at the works of those who do this kind of stuff. Better to just stay legit so your mind does not stray nor tease you to do the creepy stuff. My 3 cents
