The Sao Paulo man was arrested yesterday in Florida, where he was charged with conspiracy to distribute obscene material, a felony carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $150,000 fine.
The more extreme things on that site are not my thing, personally, but this is a major step in the direction of censorship..what's next? All fetishes qualify as 'obscene'? Maybe if one too many foot lickers end up in the news, any and all foot fetish material on the internet will be outlawed due to the obscene nature influencing negative behavior..

well, there are actually laws against what can and can't be done in america porn. like fisting, golden showers (which is why, along with the girls age, that the r. kelly tape was such a big deal) and things along that line. but depending on whos' in office, these laws can be laxed or tightened up. during the clinton years the laws were REALLY relaxed. but now we have a republican in office the laws are actually being enforced. I think everyone on this board should think there lucky fucking stars we aren't as perverted as the rest of the world.

I am glad are "thing" is "tame"! I didnt know it was illegal to have such interests in US.I am in Canada...although our Prime Minister is not as controversial as Bush he is determined to try though.Him and Bush get along pretty good so it is a matter of time before Harper is Canada's Bush.

Dude, Bush is a conservative. What do you expect? Besides, most of America is moderately conservative so, he's doing what his constituents expect him to do. You should be bashing Bush for his policy in Iraq and his amnesty for illegals (which confuses the conservatives)! Perhaps in 20 years, America will become secular progressive, like Canada and most of Europe. When that day comes, we're doomed!

some pointers:
foot fetishism is still IMHO not mainstream enough to get THAT much bad press, yet it is in tv enough to have been more accepted of than in the past w/ toe sucking scenes being prevalent/ in movies...(hows that for " obscene"?) how many of these foot licker incidents does the mass mainstream media really know about?? we see it because we talk on this forum and such... but on a grand scale i think murder is more of a stinger on peoples minds than a toe sucker...and according the the things on that site, indecent exposure DEFINATELY gets more press than toe sucking. its not like i sign into aol reading " toe sucker at large 10000000 reward for his capture" if it was that serious then they would have to require women to wear closed skin/toe shoes,and they would have to close down nail salon shops everywhere, but i doubt it would ever happen because styles nowadays are getting more revealing and nail salons generate alot of $$...they'd be stupid to close all of them down because of some peoples action's. also people should be smart enough to realize that they should learn to have self control of their actions... they cant blame the internet for " obscene behavior" thats like the german officials at nurnberg saying " we were just following orders" when they killed 6000000 jews and other races....

That's just a false way of thinking. Laws weren't more relaxed under Clinton. That's what Fox News would want you to beleive. The difference now is that the current andministration has no idea that a constitution exists therefore they stomp all over it at every opportunity.
I thought Republicans were supposed to be AGAINST government intervention in the lives of the citizenry. But everywhere you turn you see politicians interfering in family law (trying to prevent husbands from pulling plugs), trying to change laws to prevent to human beings from marrying each other, countless interference into the scientific community..etc etc etc. It never ends with these people.

that's what i meany by "more relaxed" clinton was smart enough and "cool" enough to know that even tho most of these acts were gross and ARE not allowed in american porn, that the first amendment DID exist and that this IS america, not nazi germany or communist russia. we are free to do whatever we please (besides killing) and this goes for porn. sure, we all aren't into fisting and peeing/getting pee on by a chick (i hope not) but they have as much right to be into it as we do being into feet.

Again, whoever is in power will say what their constiuents want. Believe it or not but, most of America are socially conservative and will make noise about the porn industry. Even though the porn industry have a 1st amendment right, it doesn't make them popular to the majority. Just my two pennies...
