Of course we are going to see the goodies in this flick. It looks like one of those wicked sweaty heat type of movies that experience by living in the deep south. Deep south has some heat for you that is for sure. Louisiana definitely fits the part for the heat.

Cool! Glad to see that I'm not the only one getting his hopes up for this flick! Hopefully this movie will fulfill a whole lot of our fantasies.
The only thing I'm dreading about this movie is that it might somehow get preachy. I mean, white girl with a Confederate flag on her shirt...chained up by a lonely and religious black man? I don't know...I hope the writers avoid the cinematic stereotypes and just shoot for a fun yet dark kinda' movie.

i just recently saw the trailer for this movie and yes i think we will be seeing shots of her feet but, after seeing a few chrstina ricci's films, the question i have is, where did she get that body from? i always remember her as a somewhat chunky and short. in this movie she seems to be a 10. wow, am i suprise. well, good for us.

I'm thinking we're going to see a whole lot of Christina Ricci- period! And I like all that I've seen so far.
Though it looks like the premise is based on him curing her of her "demons", it will be interesting to see what type of social commentary this situation (barely clothed white girl in bondage to a black man) brings out.

That's what I'm afraid of...I hope the movie doesn't try to get all "deep and meaningful"...I'm hoping it's more along the lines of a dark comedy with an overabundance of barefoot and scantily clad Christina Ricci.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll see how much I like Black Snake Moan first before I go hunt down this other movie...whether or not I'm left wanting to see more of Christina...and I seriously suspect I will.
Finally saw a commercial on TV tonight about this movie, and if I heard right it opens this Friday. I know where I'm heading right after work!
