I viewed an topic in the News yesterday plastic surgeons perform who perform footlift surgeory on women. One was black women (very beautiful, around 24yrs)interviewed felt her feet weren't very attractive. She would never wear sandals, open toe shoes, flip-flps, etc or any thing footwear that would expose her feet. She had surgeory to lift the arch in her feet and to shorten a toe. There has to be something to this foot fetish because the procedure cost $13,000.00 to $18,000.00 per foot!!!!!! What's your opinion of a woman who spend that much money on her feet. Also, a podiatrist was interviewed and said that the procedure can cause serious foot problems in the future. Such as, infections, early atheritis and shooting pains. He also mentioned that her footwear before her procedure was a major factor in the appearance of her feet. Tight high heeled shoes and the excessive wearing of them. A woman that will spend that much money on her feet, in my opinion, definitely what's her feet worshipped!!!

I guess there's a chance she does want her feet to get some attention, but my guess is it was because of being outright embarrased by their appearance.

The good news in this (for me) is that maybe ladies will stop wearing those foot-torturing shoes and wear flat sandals or go barefoot more! [Big Grin]

It has to be expensive because foot surgery in and of itself, let alone for cosmetic reasons, is a very exact, careful business. Any mistakes, and the patient could have problems walking, even if her feet look better. Can you say lawsuit?
