The other misconception about great foot related jobs is a podiatrist's office. My wife is a receptionist at a podiatrist's office - I get to hear all kinds of horror stories...

I've always wanted to work part time at a shoe store, up until I read RPM's point of view. I thought I would only see pretty feet but it's true, there's all kinds of disgusting, ugly ass rough and jacked up feet.... I think not...

Some better places to work or jobs to have could be:
1. Lifeguard 2. Dressing room clerk in a woman's clothing store where you can see who is going in and then can stare at her feet. 3. Airport security since everyone has to take off their shoes.
These are all jobs where you can be selective in whose feet you look at.

I sold woman's shoes for Hofheimers for 4 years in the late 80's. Made 9% per sale. The mens dep't made 8%, but they earned more because they had exclusivity there. (which was fine with me) You footguys that cut down work at a woman's shoe store (sour grapes) don't have a clue what you're talking about; you take the good with the bad, but it's mostly good. It was the BEST job I ever had.

Probably good but the guys perve at you.

Probably the best of your suggestions as a reasonably relaxed environment 3. Airport security since everyone has to take off their shoes. [/QUOTE]
Many will have socks on and a rushed / stressfull time.
