I don't think ive "told" my gf. We have been together for a very very long time, but I have never come out and said it. Believe me, she knows, and she LOVES it too. I was raised with the adage that, "actions speak louder than words." I have found that a demonstration, with audience participation, works best for me; a full and candid discussion can follow later.
