Just searched asian actress Kelly Hu and came across a forum where she answered fanmail.2 peopl asked her about her feet.

That's how any girl would react.... stupid bitches have no idea how much power those feet hold. And if they did know that, they'd probably use that power to win the world. And they probably would Win too... So, I guess its a good thing they don't know.

In the Asian culture it is disrespectful to show feet. Accordingly alot of Asians think its weird for a guy to like feet.

Did I read the same response you did? To me she didn't come off as rude, just unknowing of guys who like feet sexually not her fault at all

agreed, its true that most women have this typical view, but its simply down to being oblivious to this sort of thing.

The "how strange that you should obsess" part seemed to be her making a judgment call on the person asking the question, hence the "attitude" part. Not to mention the "Why do you think I wear boots all the time?" Um, you like boots? How was the person posing the question supposed to guess that one?

Yes I read the first post. I'm saying that response was unnecessary if she was merely "oblivious" or "unknowing" of how her feet are admired.

This is the most patently absurd thing I've ever read in these forums ... and it's not because I know at LEAST a hundred girls who are absolutely contrary to this socially-stunted view (and everybody I know, knows at least a hundred girls contrary to this view); but the simple, rampantly misogynistic attitude toward women in general is mind-boggling. Fascinating.

Ben, it's misogynist views and how they float around that keeps a lot of gals from being a bit more open with what we like. (wifee and I had a long talk about it..)
I had a long chat with a gal years back online about this topic.. she said she came to the US as a teen.. the way the views were from many of the men made her tone a lot of herself down. for her, it was easier to play the roll of a 'non-openminded' gal than be mislabelled as easy for being openminded.
i can go on for a bit.. but i won't match your eloquence on this topic...
