Yep, it's true. I believe this is going to be the last year of running Flash Your Feet. Get your last looks in while you can.

It's been a strange financial year for Mrs Bondo & I, and we have to make some budget cuts. Running the site is a hobby I enjoy very much. When you look at it, it costs me to maintain but it doesn't bring me any income in return.

I'm going to focus my energy on web design and photography for some other potential future web sites. That way I still get to do what I enjoy, but in a behind the scenes sort of way.

You'll have to pardon me if I disappear for a while.

Sorry to hear that. However, I definitely like your plan to push onward with your photography should you elect not to continue with Flash Your Feet. At least that way you can still get your kicks and also have a good photo stash upon which to base a website in the future if you want.

Ain't bandwidth a bitch? Free sites are always great, but unless you have it hosted by one of those crappy hosts that throw a million pop up ads all over it with limited space for your own content it can't be really free for the webmaster. I know you're in this for the long haul though since I've seen you pics on the net for about a decade now. The site may be going down, but Bondo will still be doing his thing. [Big Grin]

Sorry to hear that you're shutting the doors at Flash Your Feet, Bondo. Naturally what takes precedence is that Mrs. Bondo & yourself not only be able to do what you enjoy but to also benefit from it in a manner that is constructive and rewarding on multiple levels. I wish you both the best with whatever endeavors come next, and I thank you for all the goodies you provided to the foot fetish community via Flash Your Feet.

hey...if the hosting is your only problem let me help you...im running two servers, one is pretty good, my web site from sig is hosted on it...
i just saw your site and i think it can't make so much bandwith so im willing to give you free hosting if you like...let me know what you think!

Would be a real shame, Bondo.

If it`s only the bandwidth I´m sure you can sort something out...either with DreamFeet (the post above) or maybe contact Phil from BHE. I´m sure he will have a few extra MBs on his servers for free.

Thanks for your concern guys.

Bandwidth isn't the issue, I have unlimited bandwidth with my web hosting package.

The thing is, I'm at a point in my life where even if it was free to run my site, I would probably still close it.

I need to utilize my time a little more wisely and I'm sharpening my talents so I can somehow use them to benefit me. Flash Your Feet is fun, and running it for 4 years has been a learning experience. Now I need to take what I've learned and put it to good use.

One door closes and another opens. I just need to find the next one before I get stuck between two closed doors.

I've been there buddy. The 10 Little Piggies, after almost working 8 months to make it, was too expensive to run as a free site after 3 months. I took it offline, was saddened, but now I have Soles of Silk. Don't fret my friend. When things get brighter, I am sure you will entertain a comeback.
