Hi all, Can you all remember what it was like when you did not have the internet and have a strong foot fetish? I remember it like yesterday I felt alone and much of the time unable to really fulfil my huge desire for female feet, it was hard enough that I only came onto the internet world about four years ago, but now could not do without it. Yeah, the net definitely opens the eyes to a lot of closet fetishists that there is acceptance for our love of feet. I got on the internet back in '93 and of course the very first thing I did was start searching for FEET FEET FEET! Chatting on AOL with people at that time was a big eye opener for me. I mean I used to buy LegShow magazine and knew that other people were out there, but it was totally different actually communicating with people that had the same desires as myself.
However, before my introduction to the internet I did get footjobs, suck toes, sniff soles, etc. I just thought I was only one of a few weird few that did so!

Leg Show was my thing! I actually had two shots of Abby's photos published in the readers gallery section once. I bought it each month and even went back and got lots of the back issues in those 3 packs where you got a Leg Show and two stupid issues of something else.

Yeah, I, too, remember back in the day before the internet. I got online in 1997 and before then, it was definitely the leg/foot fetish magazines for me, as well as the occasional foot fetish video. Back then, Leg Show was the primary mag for foot fetish material, followed by Leg Action and then, eventually, Leg Sex, as they came along in the late 1990s. Seeing a copy of Leg Show on a newstand for the first time was a bit of an eye opener for me. I truly thought foot fetishism was something that only a scant few people had. Seeing Leg Show and, eventually picking up a copy, made me realize that there were definitely enough people out there with a foot fetish.
For video content, I don't remember being a great variety to choose from out there. FM Concepts videos could be found if you looked around hard enough at some of the XXX stores. Other than that, you had those Platimun video production foot fetish videos (Remember them?). The Toe Tales series and the Spiked Heel Diaries series eventually came along as well. Other than that and maybe the occasional amatuer video, it was pretty slim pickings!
I did do the TV scanning/video taping for awhile looking fot feet, as well as scoped out women's magazines, hoping for elusive pictures of women showing off their feet, or hell, even dressed in a pair of sexy shoes that looked nice.
Life was damn rough back in those days. For all of you newcomers to the internet and foot fetishism, you don't know how bad it was back then! With the way things are today and you being able to just click online and find virtually anything foot related, you wouldn't have survived 5 minutes with a foot fetish back in 1990! I always checked fashion magazines & catalogs in the 80s & beginning of the 90s. Bah! I never want to touch one of those again...it sucked so hard paging through hundreds of idiotic articles or glossy pics of furniture just to find half a dozen good (small) pics. The internet was my saviour!

I was a teenager in the 70's and before the net here's what kept me goin:
1) Having an almost photographic memopry for the girls that I did see in sandals or barefoot. Fortunately several of the neighborhood girls loved to go barefoot almost all the time.
2) The major catalogs (Sears/Roebuck and Penneys) Back then I wasn't really into sandals yet, so it wasn't the shoe section, but the pajama and nightgown models who were frequently barefoot. For a brief period I started a scrapbook of feet pictures from these pages.
3) My mom's Ladie's Home Journal and other magazines sometimes had feet in them. (Nothing like today though). Oh, and in the late 80's some bikini magazines.
4) TV occassionally gave us some titillation.

It's funny to sit back and think about all the things that we did t get our foot fix. i remember the catalogues too. We always had several around the house. I did the catalogue thing for years and years (Yasmeen Ghauri, Morena and Lola Corwin, and Leeann Tweeden FILLED my thoughts and I anxiously checked the mail box for new catalogues to arrive), and of course bought the foot and leg magazines from my friendly neighborhood porno shops too.
A real treat for me though was to find movies with barefoot girls in them. I remember Rhonda Sheer from USA's "Up All Night" as well. I would anxiously sit watching the mostly really bad movies they would run in the hopes of getting glimpses of her feet and toes before and after commercials. She did a pictorial for Leg Show and said in the interview that she began getting fan mail from quite a few of us foot fetishists, asking her to show off her feet more. That's why she did that one show on "Up All Night" dedicated to just her feet that one time. Unfortunately, that was one of the shows that I missed. heh, ive read all of your posts, and let me say, they take me back. It was so embarassing to buy those old 3 for 8.99 mag packs. I remember there would be a leg show, a cheri, and a old wrinkled grandma mag in there. I would go into ez-mart, and hope that no one saw me, got busted by people i knew a couple times, trying to hide the big mag pack in my jeans under my shirt. Thinking back on it, i spent alot of money on those old mags, but there literally was nothing else. At one point i had so many they were hard to hide "i lived with my parents in the 90's" i hid them under my dresser, i was always trying to wad the pages back underneath that would stick out of the bottom. The first time I heard the term "foot fetish" was after that toe-sucking affair by a woman called Antonia de-Sanches which reached the news in a big way in the 90's. For me it's pretty much the same. Back then, whenever there was good (unintentionally erotic) exposure, I'd usually freeze-frame images on tapes or gaze at magazine pictures, using my imagination the rest of the time (or during).
Then, around the early-to-mid-ninties, these rare scenes on television that were intentionally centered on portraying women's feet in an erotic manner started popping up. This happened on shows like Melrose Place (the semi-famed scene with Jake licking whipped cream off Jo's toes), Model's Inc, and Silk Stalkings.
I also used to stare at this scene around the middle of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, in which Kate Capshaw's lying on a bed and we get a great view from behind as she casually swings her feet up and down. Hers are hot right there.
Upon seeing the occasional feet-related scene in erotic movies, I began to realize that it was catching on to some extent in mainstream sexuality.
Like others, I used to think I was one of few who found feet attractive and that it made me odd. There's still that feeling to an extent, which is why I won't be sharing my fondness for them with anyone outside the Internet besides a girlfriend.
