Has anyone ever notice the decrease of foot clips/videos on YouTube? Most ppl that I subscribe to either no longer have the videos or their accounts are suspended.
What do you think of it?

I think it sucks!! I was really starting to enjoy those clips! I had built up a huge playlist and everything. Sometimes I wonder, what the hell is wrong with people?! There seems to always be some a*#hole out there who comes along and ruins party! I'm sure somebody had a complaint about these type of videos. Most of the videos were harmless! I can understand if the video was a footjob type clip. But a video with a nice set of feet wiggling or flexing, what's wrong? Besides, most of them were teaser clips. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

Hell yeah to that! What I find interesting about this double-standard they seem to have suddenly adopted is the fact that you find all kinds of clips that are nothing short of inflamatory (not to mention misleading and wholly inaccurate) on political, societal, scientific, and theological levels. So, according to youtube it's perfectly okay to post clips whose sole purpose is to piss others off or push some agenda, no matter how twisted in origin, but God forbid you post some clips of, say, a clothed yet barefoot girl that others might enjoy!
Of course, they're leaving the Venture Brothers clips alone for the time being, and that's pretty damn cool since I don't have cable and want to keep up with the show.
Maybe once Google finishes the buy-out all of this clip deleting crapola will cease...

Yeah, but the amount of clips offered by google aren't nearly as many as the amount of clips people were posting on youtube.
I knew something was going on the minute I heard that youtube began deleting foot related clips. They want mass appeal and marketing to as many people as possible so, as a result, God forbid they have anything that is even considered remotely sexual in nature offered.
I completely agree with what Lou said about the double standard issue of having clips that are inflammatory and not entirely accurate regarding other things (i.e. political, religious, societal, etc.) just to forward someone's agenda but, suddenly, clips of women barefoot are forbidden??? It's all a bunch of crap. It was good while it lasted and a damn shame the "corporate" world has to come in and screw it up, all for the sake of the almighty dollar. I wonder how much youtube will begin charging to view and post clips once google buys it. You just know that will be the next step!

It is very unfortunate that just about everything has a money tail to it. I mean you can't have a decent conversation with people without throwing in money or trying to figure out what is this guy's or gal's angle talking to me and are they trying to get some money from me. That is really sad that the psychology/sociology of the Youtube is changing. Glad we have Wu. I know we had to make changes to stay alive (I really miss how we use to role around here), but as long as Wu is here, we can still breathe. Wufeetlinks is such a needed outlet for the FF community.

All of my clips and my account were just removed from Youbube as well. I am thinking it has to do with the Google deal. My clips had no nudity, offensive language or sexual content, yet were deemed as not within their guidlines. They being a bit over cautious?

I would guess that You Tube is likely undergoing structural changes do to the recent buyout. I read in the news that Google bought You Tube for $1.65 Billion (also read $2.4 Billion, don't know which is correct if either).
No matter what the reason for the changes are, they should still offer some sort of explanation as to why they seem to be downsizing their content. Donya think?

My account was just closed due to my clips going against YouTube's TOS. All good things must come to an end. Now I just need to find a new site that will host my sample clips for free that isn't quite so conservative.

my youtube account was suspended as well, when i wrote to them asking why, all i got was canned responses that had nothing to do with why i was writing, i got so frustrated, i just replied "fuck you" and that ended their emails back to me.
i never knew showing just feet is classified as porn.....i feel like i am back in eastern europe during communist times (big brother watching). well i wouldnt go that far, but i find it very upsetting that they would control these types of videos.....since when is showing feet considered porn or immoral?
well good ridence to youtube.......there are other alternatives.....

p.s. it's along the lines.. if someone can get "off" on the content.. then it's too sexual in nature to leave be. so.. my guess. they saw some pretty raw stuff.. and decided to do a blanket removal via key wording (assumption on my part) and took off all foot stuff.. even the innocent ones. i bet... none of use ever got to the offensive stuff because that isn't our cup of tea.. but to the folks doing this work.. it must have riled them up enough to hate all feet stuff.... only takes one bad egg

The same thing happen to me! I subscribe to Ledaemon's group and I notice all the clips in his groups were removed for a violation. I check every where for more clips but it burned me up that lot of the foot fetish stuff had been deleted. Of course that bull crap male feet is still there what kind bull is that! I have posted youtube foot vids on my blog and after going through my archives see that most of it has been removed also, and not just the copyrighted material. They have been removing anything that might cause someone some sort of arousal.

I hear ya, but you guys don't get it: foot fetish stuff isn't really viewed as porn, it's viewed as deviant. Tits, ass & pussy might be considered pornographic, but still 'normal'. If sodomy is still illegal in three (?) states, imagine how some of these extremists must feel about guys who like feet. I would not want to be in rural America (or Alberta for that matter) and admit I have a foot fetish.

Depends upon who you know, honestly. The way that the video works on YouTube (and, if anybody else knows better, feel free to say something) is through a flashplayer that was created when the Minnesota-based owner created the site. The only way you'd be able to get to save those files is if you:
1. Contacted the owner of the file, and get it from them, or,
2. Found a hacker/cracker to dive into the database and retrieve those files. (lol...kinda Shadowrun-ish, isn't it?)

Yes there is - I just tried it this weekend:
