I have to admit though...I didn't really find it out all on my own. Me and a guy at work was talking about the Venture Brothers cartoon (I'm a big fan of the show but I don't have cable TV, so I have to resort to DVD's or youtube to keep up with it), and he said that he was going to start calling me Sargeant Hatred. He had seen this episode a while before I did...

What can I say? He can go right ahead and call me Sargeant Hatred! Kind of a compliment really... [Big Grin]

Thats pretty cool Lou and by the way I just got done beating Resident Evil 4. Im a big fan of the series and that is my second favorite but the first one is still my fav because it was ahead of its time.

That was a great funny scene....I totally forgot about it when I saw it a few weeks ago. Great find, lets just hope Youtube doesn't take it down due to copyright infringement (blah, blah, blah, we all know they will!)

Lou, being English the clip you posted was the first time I've ever seen or heard of the Venture Brothers. Brilliant mate - like a cross between between King of the Hill and Futurama? Good to see the fetish is alive and well in animation-world at least. The inclusion of the Sergeant Hatred segment + David Bowie guest-starring = thumbs-up. Good find, my man.

I love off the wall humor like those shows. Ren & Stimpy, the old Liquid Television stuff, and Monty Python are right up my alley.

Throw in a foot fetish reference and it's even better.

I like how Sgt Hatred mentioned "corn", and Tiny Feet related with "maize". Cute...

Is that what she said? Cool...thanks Bondo. I couldn't make that out for some reason.

Yeah F18, like killa pointed out, Venture Brothers is a spoof on the old Jonny Quest cartoons, at least it started out that way. Anymore it seems like it's more of a spoof on the whole costumed super heroes and villains genre in general.

And the really cool thing about this show; you have to constantly keep an eye out for other spoofs and plays on things, no matter how obscure. Great stuff! Makes me almost willing to pay for cable just so I can watch this!

Yeah man, go watch yourself some more Venture Brothers clips on youtube...enjoy this stuff before they get rid of it! If I can remember the episode, there was another foot-reference in the show (not as cool as this one) where Hank Venture rubs his face along Molotov Cocktease's boot while she's not wearing it. If I can find that clip I'll post the link to that one too. [Thumbs Up]
