i was just wondering what peoples experiences with coming out about their foot fetish.
with me it all started a month ago when i told a few people hu i trusted but then i really came out when i had my first foot experience which was last saturday when i suked this girls beautiful toes and everyone sort of worked it out but they were ok with it and me and my best mate joke about it all the time. and i was sort of wondering what other peoples experiences were?

well I "came out" with it with my girlfriend about two years ago..and she is now still my current girlfriend..she took it alright...wasnt really all that sure of what it entailed but was somewhat open to it. Me telling my friends on the other hand...well I was fooling around with a girl that we were all friends with and asked her to do something to me with her feet...I didnt think she would remember it because we were both drunk..apparently not...because she told all my friends about it and they brought it up a little while later to which i shamefully denied it. They always kind of suspected it since then but werent sure...anyways...about a year later I went out to the store for a bit and left my laptop on in the living room and one of my friends used it...which I was ok with...except that god damn google search bar! had all my search history...most of which had to do with feet! So they put two and two together...razzed me a little bit and I again acted dumb and said 'I dont know what your talking about'?! Well a couple of months after that I decided what the fuck might as well...so I told one of my closest friends that I had a thing for feet...he just said man...we always knew! Said he and my friends didnt care and wouldnt bring it up which I told him that I am grateful because its not something that I want them bringing up out of the blue when there is someone new around! I hate that we foot guys have to "come out" about it! It's not like were gay or anything(i.e. come out of the closet) I mean "other" people dont "come out" about sticking their dick in a pussy so why should we come out about rubbing it on feet or sucking toes? But that's just my rant...million dollar question I suppose....

I've never actually come out to the world and made this huge announcement to all of my friends and family about my foot fetish. However, I've had a few situations where it has come out to various people. Obviously, all the women I've indulged my foot fetish with know. Some of them have told other women about it (Women talk about guys just like guys talk about women sometimes.). However, this has never led to any embarassing situations really. If anything, women who have found out about my foot fetish from other women will then go out of their way to show me their pedicures or their high heeled sandals and asked what I think. In some cases, this has even led me to giving some of these other women foot massages and a few were fine with letting me suck on their toes and playing with their feet.
One of my more embarassing moments that led to me having to "come out" so to speak was with a guy whose house I lived in for a few years. Since I was living at this guy's house and it was a smaller house, we tended to share certain things, of which, one was his computer. Of course, I would go online using his computer and visit foot fetish related websites but was very cautious and diligent with regards to erasing my tracks and clearing out the history of what I had visited. However, one day I totally screwed up and ended up saving a picture onto the hard drive. Don't ask me why I didn't bother to get the picture off the hard drive once it was saved. To be honest, I don't remember actually doing it. The point is, the picture was saved onto the computer and I never did anything to get it off the hard drive. He and I ended up going out one evening several weeks later and, out of the clear blue, this guy came out and said, "So,... you like feet, huh?" Of course, the question totally blindsided me and the only thing I could respond with was, "Huh?". He then explained that he had found a foot fetish picture on the hard drive of the computer and I knew I was caught dead to rights. I admitted up to it and he just laughed a little but was totally cool with it. He even told me to create some new folders on the hard drive on his computer to store pictures and videos in. He busted me a little bit about it over the following few days but it was nothing serious. I told him I would appreciate it if he kept this new revelation on the lowdown and not make it an issue. He said that he wouldn't make a big deal about it and all was cool after that. Although I don't live at his house anymore, he and I are still very good friends. Every once in awhile, he'll even email me a few pictures that he has ran across online that he thinks I would enjoy.

My family doesn't know, as for my friends, they know only cause I told my ex g/f, whole told them (she couldn't keep a damn thing to herself). I told my wife when we were still dating. I asked her onlinr once, "what do you think of people with a foot fetish?" She said "Oh, I don't like my feet, but it don't bother me, I enjoy footrubs." I'm still in that coming-out stage. I have told a lady friend of mine and I have been able to indulge in her wonderful feet. She was respectful of my fetish, but didn't share the same light with it as I do. I have confided in one close friend (whom also mutually shares that fetish) and have recently intentionally slipped out to one of his roomates that I like women's feet [my buddy was visually happy that I did], other than that I have been very indirect on my fetish, not telling anyone in my family.

I'm like Fate111. It's more of a gradual thing rather than all of a sudden everybody knows I have a foot fetish. Some people I've told, some people I won't, some people I'd like to but haven't yet. I'm alot less apprehensive about telling people these days, but still somewhat selective.
The people I have told have been very receptive and cool about it much to my own surprise.

Im not 100% out, a handful of friends know about it though, the first person i officially told it to was one of my female friends via msn, my avatar was a pic of feet, and she asked me "whats with the feet", dunno whether i was high on juice or something but i just blurred out " ohh i lovve fee", i was ready to turn around and say "GOTCHA" just in case any freak outs, but after about 20 seconds silence, she asked "really" and i decided to contine saying yes until i detected a freak out, thats when i was ready to back out with the "GOTCHA" thing but she didnt really freak out, i cant remember the details, but i talked her through it that i didnt choose to be this way, and theres no on/off switch and the only choice i get is either to deny or accept it and a few comparisons to even worse stuff out there that people do, after all that she was cool with it, were still friends to today, she never brings it up, but shes a quite person anyways.

I am actually very open about my foot fetish. My girlfriend knows, and is totally fine with it, my friends know, even some of my enemies know. I was really afraid at first, but I just decided that, you know, if guys can like humps of fat that milk babies, then I can like what a girl walks on.
To be entirely honest. I cannot remember my first time confessing that I like feet. For a long time, I didn't understand why looking at porn with my friends in 8th grade didn't turn me on. I had no idea. When I had wet dreams, I always had a barefoot girl. Needless to say, I was pretty confused. I knew I wasn't gay, because men didn't do it for me, either. But then when I started to notice that I got more than a little turned on at the sight of a barefoot girl caused me to go into denial.
My thoughts were "I just like...you know, feet." for a long time, or "barefoot girls", until later on in my highschool career I found out, thanks to the glorious internet, that there was a foot fetish. I was so relieved that it was a real, normal thing to have, and other guys felt the same way I did.
I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of in liking feet. I don't think we should go on marches, that'd be weird. But I think if somebody asks us what we like sexually, just reply "Feet." when I came out, i told my old coworkers about it a few months after i started up a foot website. they all busted out laughing and made fun of me. I'd get calls while they were all at parties drunk on the beach and they'd saying all kinds of stuff. I'd hear references to "stand on my face" in the background, it was crazy.
considering how formal my former work place and coworkers used to be (ie military), this was a total change in their impressions of me as just an upright guy.
