Just some estimates from my own experiences on the forum, etc. I encourage you to present your own opinions (perhaps add views I left out) on these percentages as they are merely my own beliefs as I am sure each one is off.
11% - Males with a foot fetish
74% - Males who massage their spouses' feet
7% - Males who would refuse to massage their spouses' feet
88% - Males in "limbo" and have the potential to incorporate feet into their sex lives, whether it is enjoyed or not.
91% - Males who would lick feet while being intoxicated
67% - Males who could change their minds on feet if their girlfriend/wives wanted foot attention [i.e. worshipping, etc.]
9% - Males who find feet disgusting.
27% - Females who find feet disgusting
0% - Number of male feet allowed in this foruum (there shall be no discrepancies there!!)

nice perspective... i think though.. the number of females who find feet disgusting is a bit higher, but not sure by how much. i will venture this however.. it's more learned than inate... to find feet disgusting. someone i know.. only found feet horrible after she had a really bad experience once.

Yeah I've actually read a similar stat in a recent issue of Men's Fitness magazine. My percentages up there, consider them "educated guesses." Wouldn't it be neat though if there was actually reserach that represented such statistics.

That seems a bit optimistic that 96% of women take good care of their feet. I'd say a majority do take good care of them, but there are a lot that have fairly nasty feet as well. I definitely think more guys are into it than would admit. They may not all show up in these forums, but they are out their massaging/kissing female feet.

Here's one that is actually factual: about one of out of every four registered members at Wu's has never made a single post! Crazy, huh?! Out of the approximate 20,000 members, roughly 5,000 have actually made at least one post! Source: 'directory, under the number of posts.'

Haha, yes, there are a lot of other fun things to do too, but in all seriousness, I never see a girl in flip-flops who doesn't have some guy around her trying to sneak a peek at her feet. Also, it's really built into our pop culture. Any time an advertiser or director want's to denote sexiness in some way without 'crossing the line' they have a woman doing something in bare feet. Everyone just automatically thinks it's sexier (otherwise the directors wouldn't bother). How many times has a woman toyed with a guy under a table with her feet on-screen. How many movies have some kind of scene with a woman hanging out on a couch with her feet formost in the shot? Also, women do a lot to make their feet look good. The economics of this means that it's worth it to, because guys notice. you don't see a girl trying to make her elbows look good, or showing them off. There has to be a market for feet. I just think most guys don't even realize they are responding to it.

yeah seeing a girls feet might give a guy sexual thoughts but the sexual thoughts have nothing to do with feet
we see feet and we want to do nasty things to their feet

While there's probably no way of getting accurate stats for the things mentioned, I think that, with all due respect, the totals given are a bit optimistic and most of us would like to think that these totals are accurate.
Personally, I think the total of "Males who refuse to massage their spouse's feet" is higher. In most societies, other parts of a women's body are viewed as sexual and feet are disregarded almost completely as being a body part on a woman that can be sexual. As such, most guys won't even pay attention to a woman's feet and it doesn't even cross their minds. When it does, most guys dismiss a woman's feet as being potentially sexy or sexual in nature due to the boobs and butts obsession that most cultures and society, in general, has. But, hey, we can all dream. It would be interesting to find out what the actual results would be to these questions though.

You have this backwards...
If one out of four has NEVER made a post, then 15,000 (or 3 out of 4) HAVE made at least one post.
Seems about right to me.

What I meant to say was roughly 25 percent of members have actually made at least one posting. (THREE of every four have never made a single post).
When viewing the directory of Wu's members by number of posts yields almost 1,000 pages with 20 members listed on each page. Once we reach page 233 (which is the link above) the remaining members thereon have not posted anything. Once again with twenty members listed per page multiped by 233 equals 4,660 (page 234 has four members that have one post) so out of 19,927 members (not al are listed, but the newest members are on it) we have 4,664 members who have 1 post or more, which can roughly estimate one of four members who have made at least one post. That's my backing, and I apologize for the typo I made on the above post.

about advertisement and the big screen.. when it comes to selling.. sex sells.. but usually the tried and true.. big breats and big butts shaking around.
when it comes to making cash though.. you have to appeal to women. women control nearly all the cash they make.. and control about 92% of the cash their men makes (stats publish in a newspaper years back). so... is the case for the cosmetic industry.
to make the dollar work.. appeal on the fears.. and feed a solution.
women are afraid of ugly feet.. because feet are 'discusting' to start with.. and need all the help they can get to make it. only those with the prettiest feet can wear the best shoes.. and show of their toes in the summer at the pool. so.. 'pressure' is on to make the grade.
now... add to the fact in most urban places.. such as NYC..... more women dress for the approval/competition of other women. they're so hard on each other. so taking care of their feet is more because they will get criticized if their toes look bad in sandals. not because the boyfriend will notice. if he does.. it's a plus. but the back talk is from the women.. not men.. so you have to prep to avoid the back talk.
hence why so much attention in the media to foot care. there is cash to be made off the fears of women... not the admirations of boyfriends and overworked husbands.
plus women are more loyal and bigger spending demographics than men. men love their toys and naked or barely clothed women.
however.. thanks to the info age.. feet is getting more positive attention.. and more men are getting comfy with feet.. because more women talk about it and more women find men who can massage their feet romantic. the numbers are climbing slowly... but i've done enough 'round table' discussions with mixed groups to notice a trend.. the 20 somethings are more open to their feet being played with and hope a man can do so.. than any other age groupings.
