So I joined a board to try and find some models in my area that will shoot with me for TFP's. I posted a message in their newbie forum and was attacked for being a foot model. I pulled my profile from the site b/c I just don't want to be associated with a forum that nobody mods. They just let these couple of photographers run around the boards being pricks. [Mad]

I certainly feel for you guys when someone calls you a freak or weird or anything like that. Apparently being a girl who caters to the foot fetish world is just as bad. People with attitudes like that should be shot, in the groin for that matter. [Violent]

Oh I am so pissed right now....someone talk me down!

Luckily I have had more positive experiences than negative ones.

But a few years ago I posted an ad in an online punk-music forum (I was looking for foot models) and after about 5 minutes there were about 20 negative replies...after 10 minutes it was about 100 replies, only negative...just stuff like "Fuck you, asshole!". It was insane. The mods closed the thread after 20 minutes...there were over 10 pages of really bad comments.
(remember this was a punk forum...where people are supposed to be open minded).

On the other side: I posted the same add in a very serious (and pretty conservative) local online-newspaper and had only positive replies.

Just shows that some forums are more open for our fetish than others.

Wish you luck, Eliza. Just show them the middle finger if they bother you...don`t let it get to you.

They don't seem to have any moderators on their forums. They just let the attack threads go. I read lots of them. I dont think they Mod the Forums at all on Model Mayhem

there was a thread here probably a couple of weeks ago about a foot guy and modelmayhem, they crucified him.

fuck ´em then [Wink] why waste time and energy in a place where you wont find what you are looking for?

After doing some reading on the site, they just let people flame and insult as much as they want. The forums are not really moderated at all. Their "Rules" basically say don't bother the Mods.

I think on a music forum especially for punk most of the posters are going to be teen to preteen age that are just displaying typical juvenile stupidity. Typical post:

-------
Dewd! Blink 142 is the only real PuNk MuZick. They Own gReEnDay. Ur Pwnd! lol
-------

I guess a post doing the next emo/goth foot model search wouldn't be well recieved in those online circles.

Why bother in that territory anyway? I bet you'd find more success just doing a model search from your own website or on other fetish forums. I'm sure there's modeling sites that go off the beaten path that you could try out.

Just what exactly are you looking for anyway? Are you trying to expand your site with several models just doing foot layouts or is it going to be a little kinkier? [Wink]

Yeah, don't sweat it Eliza. These Bro's are right...it's just not worth a second thought. Just keep in mind that the majority, if not all, of these "internet badasses" we've all ran into at one time or another are socially inept recluses that use the internet as their moment to "shine". In other words, to say their lot in life is pathetic is actually paying them a compliment. Just ignore this kind of rabble...they'll dry up like the human weeds that they are in due time.

And as for empathizing with us Bro's and what people think of us for our desires...please Babe, don't spend one more second doing that. I can honestly say I don't give a rat's anus whether or not somebody understands or "get's" what I'm into, and I think it's safe to say my fellow Bro's in this appreciation for female feet feel the same way. I mean seriously, who cares? My desires ain't up for the understanding of some other dude...they're here for me and how I choose to indulge them.

In other words, just kick them beautiful feet up, grab a beer, and keep on being cool. You know you're appreciated around here.
[Cheers]

I'd like to find a couple of cute girls in my area to shoot with. I have Julia who is always busy. But other than that, most of the women I know are older, moms that have kids in school with my son.
It would be nice to expand the site since we own the footgurls domain also. That is the plan for the future. I tried posting on myspace and emailing a few people and nothing. So I saw that site and thought it was worth a shot.

Eliza,

I agree with these others that you shouldn't give it a second thought. People hide behind internet nicknames. I like to compare them to a kid I knew as a child who would get far enough away from me that I couldn't catch him if I were to run after him, and call me names. Usually, he was on his bike when he did it. The one day I did catch him, he screamed "MOMMMMYYYYY" at the top of his lungs and his mother came running. Whenever I see things like this, I sometimes think, "There's old Richie!" Don't worry about Richie...at worst, he'll get his mother to slap you.

On a somewhat related note, I did have a very positive reply to a personal ad I posted looking for a foot-fetish partner. A journalist from a local magazine contacted me and asked about the foot-fetish, why I liked feet and so on. (He told me he was assigned an article on feet, from shoes to podiatry.) I kept it anonymous, but I did feel really good giving him the information. Besides, I'm not ashamed of my fetish. I mean, I'd be a little embarrassed maybe if some people found out, but I'm not ashamed at all. I've told several of my friends and while they don't understand it, they don't think any less of me.

I think basically the lesson here is that the web is full of Richies. Don't worry about them.

Thanks Lou. It's nice being appreciated no matter where you are. I think what pissed me off even more was that after reading some more of the newbie threads on there, they just pull people apart. Anyone they don't think is an ideal model is ripped to shred on that site. Pretty sad.

Why is it that guys who like extreme hardcore images of women are "normal," while guys who enjoy just the sight of barefooted women are "freaks?"

Posted by Thundercracker (Member # 7778) on :

Sorry to hear. Just forget about the jerks. People are always afraid of what they don't understand & it sounds like some jerk photographer on that site reinforced that fear.

Your best bet may be to hit up the nearest college or uni for models.

College girls can always use some extra cash & all they're doing is showing their feet. Some co-eds show more than that for free!!

Good luck to you!

Yeah...I didn`t realise it at that time. I think I didn`t even mention the term "foot model"...only "model", but that was already enough to spark an explosion.

Wow I read that thread and there were some good points on this thread, but most were unintelligent. The advertisement was somewhat poetic, but I think he posted in the wrong place. Modelmayhem is a “real” model site and the chance of finding a “foot model” there is not likely. Some of the girls that posted negative comments I’m sure have ugly feet. I bet after they got over the shock and giggles they had a look at them.

If you’re professional this isn’t the way to do it. I’d provide some preliminary information and try to meet the muse at a coffee shop or something. That way she can see me and I can see her. You can learn a lot about someone in a quick face to face. The best thing (and I learned the hard way) is to be honest. I wouldn’t toss big sums of money around as that could spell pornographer.

Hal mentioned he had a bad experience online and a good one via a newspaper! You just never know what you’re going to get do you?

Update:

I explored Modelmayhem's General Mayhem section and saw a thread called "biig butts". It seems to be a popular thread of a more "mainstream fetish. It was actually quite sad since I bet a lot of the girls shriek at foot fetish, but don't mind showing their butts! :-(

Eliza,

Sorry for the negativity you had to go thru yesterday. I hope that I was able to make you feel better after our chat. You have incredibly beautiful feet so stick with us here where we are positive and encourage you every day!

Yes...but this was about five years ago. I´ve had the best experiences just talking up girls on the street. That way they can see me and know I´m an honest/normal guy [Wink]

A lot of the people who react negatively to proclivities and interests that are less "mainstream" suffer from boring and unsatisfactory sex lives. Often because they are unable or unwilling to act upon their fantasies. So you should really just feel sorry for them. They obviously are not very happy or comfortable with their own sexuality/themselves. If they were, things that are "different" would not scare them so much. So count yourself lucky that you are better off then them!

That's 100% true as far as i'm conserned. Love your feet, Eliza, and your fetish for them! I do, (save i love female feet, not my own.)

The problem is also indicative of the United States culture. In our country we routinely attack gays and lesbians, Muslims, and anyone who does not support a hard line Right Wing Agenda, anyone who does not support war, etc. Those who don't think racism is a giant problem in this country in 2007 are sadly mistaken.

Acceptance of anything but narrow "mainstream" of beliefs and behaviors is anathema.

I think that while it is frustrating that some people think we are disturbed in some way for liking feet- we live in an age where acceptance -and at least tolerance- of a wide variety of religious and political beliefs, sexual preferances, and varied differences is needed more than any other time in our history.

If those issues are not addressed- we'll have far greater problems that being insulted online.

I have been turned down before, but it wasn't because of the foot aspect. It comes from the "fetish" attached to it. When most people hear fetish photography they automatically think whips, chains, spanking, etc. Now those people are the wierdos! LOL... Just kidding. I know lots of girls who also do that. Not my cup of tea, but there is a market for it too.

Patrick

You're right, the word "fetish" does have a negative conotation.
