One does wonder why the media would bother to even notice this. There are two reasons that come to mind. First, the public viewers love to be given a glimpse into the lives of others who have committed some sort of indiscretion regardless of its insignificance ("Shocked...Shocked, I tell you!"). It gives members of the public an opportunity to feel superior to these icons, negligible though their notoriety might be. The media justifies this by saying that they are only giving the public what it wants.
Secondly, and I admit that this thought may make me seem as a conspiracy-theory nut, the public is presented this crap as news to distract people from truly significant events taking place in the real world.
Concluding, I would ask the news media to let the matter drop. There are weightier issues that I must consider when I am through dreaming about my tongue between her toes.

Knowing Vince though, perhaps he'll run with this and create an angle about Candice and her feet. That would be the ultimate fuck you to the media, and a dream come true for all of us. It looked like they were going to go in that direction with Snitsky and Lita awhile back, there's no reason they couldn't pick it up now, have Candace basically control Snitsky with her feet, so that he goes around kicking ass on command for a kiss or a lick of Candace's lovely tootsies. This may backfire on the media and turn out to be one of the coolest things ever. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

If WWE is upset about foot photos and the whole fetish idea, they need to look in the mirror. First off all, they did a foot fetish angle with Snitsky getting Lita's feet in a deal with Edge.
