So I was at this hip bar by the shore the other night. It was one of those cheap beer and cover band kinda nights with a good turnout for February. There were plenty of cute chicks in the place. In between sets they pump in dance music and I caught this pretty young thing on the floor gettin down with some friends. She was about 5'3" a brunnete with shoulder length hair, a curvy body with nice hips and a great ass. I would guess about 22-24 years old. She had on skin tight blue jeans that were cuffed at the bottom, a light blue blouse and those flat converse-looking sneakers. She had kind of a rocker vibe, but she was cutting a rug to these hip-hop beats with alot of gyrating and foot action. Anyway, she did an extremely sexy thing there amongst her friends. They started chatting about something and she took off both of her sneakers in an impulsive way. She is standing there on the dance floor in her ankle socks and her cute little sneakers one in each hand. Then she raises one up to take a sniff, and reacts by scrunching her nose. She then promptly drops both shoes back on the floor and slips her feet back in. I would say she looked like a size 6 or 7. I just thought this was kinda hot. You dont see that often.

It's amazing how one of these "little" things can "make our day" huh?!

I was at Target store today in Tampa taking in all of great looking feet in flip-flops, but got my little "make my day" sight while leaving the store.

I was about six feet behind a very nice looking, 30-something, professionally dressed (blouse, short skirt, bare legs) lady wearing open-toed, heeled sandals when one of them caught on the door sill and came off.

Surprised and embarassed, she looked back at me as I approached her and laughingly commented "I lost my shoe". I got a great look at her sole as she pointed her toes to the ground and slipped her very pretty red-toed foot back into her shoe.

I smiled and said "that's easy to do on that door ledge". I stopped briefly to indicate my concern that both she and her shoe were OK. They were, and she continued to her car, with me slightly behind her since we were parked in the same aisle.

That little experience did indeed "make my day"!

And people ask me why I still live in Tampa. [Smile]

Open-toed high-heeled sandals in February ... that's why!

Cheers,
DL
