It seems like whenever I say I will return on Tuesday, something always comes up, and I can't make it on time to update this game.
But it's back.

It's time for Week 8.
Last week showed a strong support from the people of this forum, which I REALLy appreciated. Let's see if we can keep it up.
I'm going to introduce a new feature to this game. I will give you the links for you guys to go to so that you can check out the picture of each girl who will participate in this week's competition. If there's a girl posted in this contest who you're not too familiar of her looks, now will be your chance. Perhaps this will sway the voters to vote for someone different.
The names will be listed in alphabetical order so that you don't scramble in finding her name.

Very intersting matches.
I'll never support Vanessa Hudgens. I hope she finally loses. I think she has finally met her match.
The ties that happen last week can really fuck things up for katherine mcphee. If the playoff started right now, she would be one of the two girls in her class to make the post-season. But we have eight or nine weeks to go, and other girls, who are also fighting for a wild-card berth, have records similar to mcphee's. If they go on a win streak, mcphee will miss out because that tie messed around with her winning percentage. McPhee needs to go on a win streak of her own to hold her lead in the wild card race. Hudgens won last week and katherine failed to keep up.
My eyes must be playing a trick on me because someone needs to explain what Mandy Moore is doing ahead of Jessica Alba in her division? The toughest match for me this week is the Alba/Beckinsale match. This has serious implications. Alba needs to keep up with Mandy because she will most likely beat Mayra Veronica. Alba, on the other hand, has a huge test this week because beckinsale is no easy opponent.
Beckinsale needs to keep up with Johansson. Scarlett has the week off, so we need to see if she can take advantage while Scarlett is not looking. A lost for either one will cause huge trouble for her, as it will make her chances of making the playoffs much harder.
I don't understand how Katherine Heigl has the record she has. She should be right there with Alba for the division lead. Not mandy moore.

Just doing my job and reminding the people that the pools are still open. We have just under 50 hours to go. Let's put together at least 10 more voters. I really hope that we end this week without any ties. Let's break them.

Vanessa Hudgens is on the verge for her first lost of the season to Shakira. I don't know if it was the picture that I posted of her, but her record coming into this week suggested that she's been hot as I thought she would be. There has to be more Hudgens fans out there.
In any event, please vote.

Hey now National, Shakira is tough competition she's always performing barefoot and they are pretty damn nice feet at that. I think Shakira has a good chance to go deep in the playoffs

I'm not a big fan of Shakira. She has a great chance of making the playoffs, but I think the other top girls in the National Female Class are not to be joked around with. I would love to see how well she does, assuming she makes it.

Voting closes in about an hour. A few extra votes can really make the difference in some of these matches. Your votes can either put a girl who's already ahead in a bigger lead, or a girl who's just behind come from out of nowhere and pull off a victory at the last second (Carmen Electra comes to mind).
Let's conjure up a few more voters.

I, for one, cannot belive that Carmen Electra lost to Vida Guerra. Two theories come to mind. Either Vida won because of the link I posted that lead to her picture. I guess people finally knew how she looked like and thought she was better than Carmen. OR there must be more Charlize Theron fans who voted this week. If that's the case, then I guess people are starting to grasp how this game is played. They figured that if Carmen wins, Charlize won't catch up to her. They want Charlize to be a game closer to Carmen before it's too late. But I still can't rule out the possibility of the picture. Before then, she couldn't register too many votes. Now, she gets enough to beat Carmen Electra.
Because of her loss, that makes the Mandy Moore/Scarlett Johansson match, back in Week 5, the last match this year in where two undefeated girls faced each other. Had Carmen Electra continued with her winning streak, she would've gone into Week 11 against Eva Longoria (assuming she stayed undefeated as well). What a match THAT would've been! Eva Longoria is the only girl left who remains undefeated.
I'm not surprised that Vanessa Hudgens lost, even though I wanted her to win. All of her matches coming into Week 8 was extremely close. I felt that someone was going to whip her ass. Shakira was that girl. This gives Katherine McPhee and her fans a sigh of relief. McPhee has to take advantage of the tie she has attached to her record.
Kate Beckinsale could not keep up with Scarlett Johansson and her week off. But she still has a great chance of making the playoffs.
Jessica Alba showed that she can hang on to the tough matches. The next time she meets Mandy Moore will be a critical match for Alba. Until then, Moore has done great for herself.
