Fellow males, you have a "thing" for feet, more specifically female feet.

consider this parallel notion, most of you also like a good ass. Women wear "booty shorts" how do you feel about the concept of men wearing booty shorts?
In a different but similar respect, thats the way i feel about men wearing sandals and or flip flops.

I understand that Swimmers, guys who practice MMA, and even those who lounge around at home in their boxers are all rightfully barefoot or in their underwear for their respective reasons. I mean, the guys who insist on wearing flip flops all the time, what the F ?
I don't only mean this in everyday life, but also in porn. I appreciate it when guys keep their socks on in their scenes, some guys insist on being barefoot; others overlook that detail.

What do you think of men in flip flops?

Never trust a man that will not have a beer with you - boss, uncle, biz partner - same with ff.

I am a swimmer, primarily for the peace and quiet, and charity races. ff are for utility only.

I am always in jeans from Europe hardly even wear shorts since shoes to match for men SUK. I never want to walk into a party and see someone avec la meme chose.

Yes i do not wear flip flops at all unless my feet were burning on the beach but i don't even own a pair. But i have to disagree with the socks during sex that is just wrong my friend. Even warse than flip flops are what my friends and i call "Jesus Cruisers" the sandals with the velcro straps are just an abomination. Too many guys wear them and they are gross.

I only wear flip flops if I have to, which is extremely rare. Even if I go to the beach, I wear sneakers until I put down the beach towel to lay out in the sun.

A guy in a porn shouldn't even be shown from the ankles down.

I never wear flip flops and even when I hang around the house I wear socks. The only time anyone would see my feet is if anyone sees me in the shower which no one does. As for the beach I also wear sneakers until I put my towel down. I can't be too much against men wearing flip flops because I have friends who do it, but I can't stand pants and sandals the worst is a man with pants and burkenstock.

I don't wear flip flops because I think they're tacky(I don't even like them on women). I do, however, wear sandals upon occaision. I like my feet to be cool in the summer, so sandals offer me the comfort I'm looking for. I don't view my own feet as sex objects so I have no problem exposing them. Nor do I care if other guys expose theirs. I just don't pay attention to guy feet.

Flips all year round here in Cali.

Only tourists wear shoes to the beach.

Ladies are more comfortable showing your theirs if they can see that yours are nice and normal.

I think all of you guys that don't wear them are weird. Who wants to be cooped up in socks all day? Men wearing flip-flops is not even close to men wearing booty-shorts. There's just no comparing the two. I don't think even women want to see men in booty short. *shutters at the thought* [Puke]

I appreciate a nice male foot. The problem is that most men don't even think to take care of their feet, so most of the time you see nasty, janky man feet. Most men don't even trim their fingernails or lotion their skin. Why on earth would they think to take care of their feet before they put sandals or flips on?

I mean seriously, someone said on this board once that men shouldn't even have feet. That is just plain absurd.

Tyler never wore sandals or flips for years. Always had socks and shoes on and finally decided to get over it. He feels so much better now. And I don't have to see him cooped up in socks all the time. Why torture yourself?

I just don't get it I suppose....

Footgirl0226....help me out here.....what do you think?

Yeah, being out in Cali, it's almost abnormal to see a guy who always covers his feet. It's so damn warm out here.

By the way goodguy, I have to amend that second sentence of yours. Only tourists and cholos wear to the beach. But cholos will also wear their black Nikes, shorts that go down near the ankles, and socks pulled up to their knees to the beach too. Wifebeaters are mandatory, with the occasional Raider jersey.

I'd have to agree here. I grew up in OC and every guy in HB owns at least 5 pairs of flips flops.

i have to admit that i hate MY feet in flip flops or sandals of any kind and just will not do it. my wife rolls her eyes, but i just dont like them.. i never have. i remember being in nursery school and sitting there crying cause we had a chinese culture day and they were trying to get me to take my socks off to wear flip flops. weird memories lol

other guys wearing them? whatever.. i am not so homophobic that i am offended but i do think that yes, guys feet are ugly lol. as for porn stars.. c'mon, just for the sake of not looking like an idiot they should take their socks off. i dont need to see their feet and if they happen to show up in screen i am not gonna lose interest.. but i will also say that seeing some totally nude guy with black socks is more of a humorous distraction.

Texas is as hot if not hotter than California. Lots of guys wear flip flops and/or sandals with shorts and pants. I see nothing wrong with prefer flip flops to almost any other kind of footwear.

Heck yeah I wear flip flops! I love wearing them and having my feet be as comfortable as possible.
Plus, I've been told by some of my female friends that I have really nice, feminine looking feet, so why not show them off??

Ok it's nice to see some flip flop wearing men in the house! Thanks for speaking up on this one guys!

don't own any personally

I don't wear them not because I think man feet are ugly, quite the contrary. It's because I sometimes check out guy's feet and compare them to mine (my bi-ness comes out most with feet [Tongue] ) And comparatively, my feet are really heinous. If I saw somebody else in public whose feet looked like mine, I'd look the other way. So I do those people a favor. Not to mention that I have somewhat poor circulation so they're always freezing if I'm not in socks.

To sum it up though, no I don't wear them, but I'm not at all saying guys should ditch flips for good.

It's funny- I always thought that I had very nice looking feet, and certainly had the chance to show them off year around living in Florida. Several years ago, not long after joining the forum, I actually bought a pair of sandals. But until a year or so ago I didn't regularly wear them or any other flip-flops or sandals at all because of all the "men-wearing-sandals-bashing" here on the forum. I guess I truly didn't want to upset my foot-loving brothers.

But several factors persuaded me to start wearing them:

- SO many other guys wear them here in Florida

- My wife encouraged me by buying me some flip-flops for Father's Day last summer, then again practically insisited that I buy some Chino (handmade)sandals when we went to Key West last August. During that week was the first time that I had ever worn sandals in public and all day.

- I actually was very excited to be able to experience what she felt when she wear sandals and flip-flops. I guess largely because of my fetish, it's something foot-related that we can do together, even in public.

Though I've never gotten a professional pedicure, I do take good care of my feet.

I wear flip flops all the time, except in the colder seasons. From late April until late September/early October. It's just a lot more comfortable plus my feet look good in them.

Never got the hang of flip-flops - that thing between the toes is just too uncomfortable and I wind up walking out of them.

The soil in my area is very rocky so it's barefoot whenever possible and dock-siders. When working around my shoreline and dock, I wear an old pair of sneakers that I can allow to get soaked.

Wal-Mart used to sell some nice, cheap "swamp-socks" that I recommend to those who visit. Still occasionally see those on the folks who drive wave-riders.

Ok I am not bashing on the guys who wear sandals or flip flops. Hey I look at it as a right to wear what you want to as long as it does not offend those around you, and to be honest it is not the most offensive thing I have ever seen.(Speedos should be outlawed. Don't care if you like em, I'm not putting my junk in something like that)

But as for me, when I was a kid, I wore flip flops, but as I got older the idea of wearing thing was not in the least bit appealing to me. Perhaps that is that when I was I child I played with childish things aspect.

My only complaint with guys wearing flip flops or sandals is that my FOOT-DAR picks up on the sound of flip flop clopping about and involuntarily my head turns and my eyes focus downward to be greeted, not by beautiful pedicured toes, but by hairy man stubs on the end of man planks at the end of some hairy leg. I need not gaze any longer, but the mental damage is done.

So I am all about some freedom, hell it is your body and you got to be you, but as for me, no thanks on the sandals. One of my green beret buddies refuses to wear closed shoes except for his boots. More power to him, I ain't mad at him, but as I asked him once, would you like it is I put my brown buttocks in a tube thong and let my junk dangle free, rather than wearing an honest pair of pants? Hey I think my butt and junk look pretty damn good. The look on his face and his wife's, was priceless.

So I don't wear sandals or flip flops mainly because I have no call for it. If I am hot, I take off my shirt. I don't go to the beach that much,I got my year round tan. They would match my wardrobe, and I can wear boots to do almost anything, except for play sports in and that is why I have sneakers.

Like I said this is not me bashing a single dude for wearing them at all. I just am telling you why I don't. there is no us versus them thing. If we are talking on this board then there is a comradeship that goes beyond me needing to bash on anyone for wanting to be comfortable. I mean that is why we are all here right? Just so we can be ourselves and be comfortable about that.

Gotta say flip flops are my only form of footwear in the summer, and have also gotten compliments from females saying i have nice feet for a guy...

Flip Flops? Hell I live in Florida AND I work from home so I don't even wear shoes most of the time. When I do go out I throw on a pair of flip flops. I DO sand down the nails and bust my bunions and throw on a bit of lotion because who wants to see my big ashy ass feet? For me its a comfort thing. Like I said, no one is checking out my Fred Flintstone feet, at least I would never notice because I'm too busy checking out the ladie's feet!! Its Florida, women are practically barefoot year round here!
