Any of you remember the show LOVE AMERICAN STYLE? One of their episodes was called "Love and the Hand Maiden." In it, a guy meets a girl. She's very open, sexually, and she lets him do her on their first date. One problem: She always wears gloves! She never goes "barehanded." This drives him crazy! He buys her an expensive pair of sheer gloves--stockings for hands. She wears them--but that's not enough. So he pops the question, and buys her a ring--enabling him to see one of her hands! OK, I know this isn't about feet! But it is a humerous comment about fetish, and I think it was rather daring for its time. (There is a nice scene where she gets him to take her shoes off, though!)

Christ, you really went to the "way back machine" to pull that one out! Come to think of it the "way back machine" kind of dates us too.
I don't remember that particular episode either. Of course when I watched that show I was probably 6 years old too.

I can't recall the episode but I remember the series well; I was in my early teens and perpetually horny so I had to watch - it was about sex! Any sex was good.
It was at the start of the Sexual Revolution and fairly racy by the standards of the day. Don't know that I would call it daring, though. A look back at Johnny Carson always amazes me - his bits were downright bawdy! I'm not sure that some of his jokes could be done today, in this age of Political Correctness.
