I don't know about you guys, but I never knew girls are barefoot (or at least the ones I saw today) inside those ugg boots. Even at a midwest campus where the temperatures don't go beyond 30 degrees in the daytime, I was a little surprised.
My first encounter was at a library, and a blonde girl had her boots off, and I was able to get a glimpse of her toes.
My second encounter was at a hallway just outside a lecture hall; a girl had her boots off and had her legs crossed, sitting on the floor with her back up against the wall....it was quite a sight.
Are girls usually barefoot inside those uggs even during the winter, or were my encounters just coincidences?

I honestly don't know, but I tend to fantasize about that a lot. Not just the ugg boots themselves--all different kinds! I have a serious boot fetish. I believe part of the allure is wondering how HOT & SWEATY their feet can get over a period of time.

cathymules, I agree, they are ugly. However, I don't know for a fact, but I heard that the sheepskin will make bare feet in them produce a powerful smell... I am so intrigued, I want to get my wife a pair... I might be one of the few fans of Ugg boots. I know a few women who wear them without socks and being a fan of smelly feet the boots are perfect for holding foot odor. Its like opening a present of christmas morning.

ok, for me... butt ass ugly footwear and, since i am like my feet odor-free, the thought of sweaty feet is a turn off too. i see nothing good coming from these products. lol

I dig ugg boots, as I generally like all boots. However, my thing for boots is more in the sense of how I get to remove them, as opposed to how they look.

the women i know here in upstate NY that wear them usually have no socks on. They say their feet stay warm in them.
I would love to pull some of their boots off and see how sweaty their feet are.

Believe it or not, there are a few people who wear them in SOUTH FLORIDA. WHERE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS WINTER. I think they're ugly as hell. Especially since you can see one person wearing Uggs, and another person walk by in flip flops on the same day.
And to top it off, I don't like smelly/sweaty feet. So for me, there is no positive to Uggs at all. I hope they go away.

A pretty, young woman wrote an article about winter boots.... Check her comments about the Uggs... I am SO buying a pair for my wife.
I took a law class [women's law!] nearly two years ago and these two girls were seated behind me and couldn't help but notice this hot chick had her Uggs taken off and just beautiful tanned bare feet. She was talking to the girl next to her about how they smelled bad lol!

The Crocs themselves don't produce much a smell. But the wool socks hold the sweat in pretty well and the rubber of the Crocs promotes the sweat. It's powerful!! Posted by Winged_Travesty (Member # 22080) on :
Refer to a thread i posted. One of the chalet lasses I mention wears exclusively Ugg boots, with soft bare feet inside. Cant be beaten.

My girlfriend wears them all the time barefoot. They are a huge plus. Here is why, they keep the feet clean, they dont get near the pavement. As well as the smell stays in, and they always smell superb, in a good way, not to powerful. I am all for them.

Last spring two of my class mates were sitting on the stairs close to our library. It was a very nice day and I think the one with uggs regret her choice of shoewear that day. She also had pantyhose on. Her friend with sneaker took shoes and socks off after a while and then the ugg girl did the same. And the pantyhose came off! I have a photo. I wear uggs quite a lot, not the real ones but the cheaper immitations. It gets so hot inside that your feet ALWAYS smell afterwards. The most effective footwear for making your feet hot and sweaty has got to be ballet pumps without socks though. They are the worst. And the shoes always retain the smell. Eventually you have to throw them away they get so bad. Lol.

TSII, they do. They start to smell a lot after a while. I think any shoes without socks make your feet all sweaty and smelly. And Kwiks... I have some black slippers under my bed that say 'twinkle toes' on them. I just had a sniff and they are most definetely whiffy. Lol x

I've had a couple encounters with these. I wasn't a big fan of them myself at first, but when I shot Cierra wearing them, that all changed. She had them on for like 15 minutes without socks in her warm apartment and when she pulled them off, her feet were drenched in sweat. I even got a photo of the spaces between her toes puddled with sweat... I'm serious, look!
After this happened I was talking to Madison. On several occassions she's wore shoes all day at work before a shoot and let me be the ones to take them off and smell her feet for a while before we shoot. With this experience with Cierra fresh in my mind, I asked Madison to wear hers all day with no socks at work. She sent me a text message at work saying the insides of her shoes felt like someone poured water in them. I couldn't wait.
When Madison came over, her feet were SOAKED and were VERY warm. They really didn't have much of a smell like I had been used to with her feet from her tennis shoes and such, but it was still nice.
For the above reasons, I do like these boots now. Don't get me started on Crocs though...

Unfortunately, they are not a fad! The most depressing thing to see is on a warm summers day, women wearing ugg boots.
They are ugly but you do get a great foot smell from them.
Regardless, they are a turnoff.
