I just had one of those moments you always regret in life.
I had my laptop projected in front of my entire class to see for a presentation, and I went to youtube to show a video.
You know on the front of the page, where they show watched and suggested videos? Out of all the hundreds of videos I've watched and favorited, they decide to plaster this on the front page since I didn't log out of my account beforehand:

yeah, no biggie from my perspective too.. i think everyone will think you are a bit of a normal perv instead of a foot perv lol. salma is total hottie and i dont think many people would make the connection between that vid a foot fetish.

I am extremely conservative about where my laptop goes or who uses it and I feel extremely bad for you, personman, and yes it clearly wasn't that bad just as long as your YouTube user name wasn't like "footperv09" or something hehe....like toeringguy suggests a lot of worse foot vids could have come up, and honestly there are probably a lot of guys in the class that were thinking to themselves "sweet!"

One suggestion I would make to you personman, is to move all of your videos related to foot fetishism in your favorites, into a playlist and to make that playlist private. If anyone from your class were to have jotted down your youtube sn and did a channel search, they would be able to confirm your "foot fetish" so to speak by looking at the videos you have favorited. They won't be able to view them, however, if they are in a private playlist.

I don't think it's that big a deal, especially since it's a clip from a movie.
I would, however, recommend that you hide your favorites and/or your most recently watched videos, which is easy to do in your preferences once you're signed in. That will help you to avoid any near misses in the future.

The video wasn't favorites, or even watched recently. Youtube keeps a backstock of all the videos you've watched, so even though I cleared my search history, it brought it up.
And remember, it didn't show the video, just the title. Which, in this case, was "Selma Hayek Feet Trample" in uppercase. I didn't even notice it until someone blurted out the title quizzically, at which point I went to another page with a stammer of "god damn it, Youtube" and turned beet red as I kept going.
I mentioned some time later to said blurter that we had been looking up Tarantino film scenes and that youtube has a weird way of suggesting videos. Not sure if I was believed.

I've been getting annoyed with YouTube making those suggestions anyway. Even though my computer stays home. It's like when you go in a store and they're in your face with the "Can I help You?". I'd rather they stay behind the counter and let me look around. I have two screennames on YouTube. I keep a G-rated history on one of them for fear of just such embarrassments as this. Plus, how about a second user name on your own computer. Separate desktops and bookmarks and saved passwords - for your public and private selves. You can hide one username's files from the other.

Similar thing happens to me. I'm always signed in to Youtube so sometimes I'll have friends round and they'll go on it to show me a video. You see a torrent of foot tease videos being recommended... it's like aaaarh you piece of shit! I can imagine it being worse in a class setting though.
To be honest, because it's from a Tarantino film, and Selma Hayek is hot, it probably rolled off as nothing unusual.

I'm ultra careful. Not only do I use two usernames on YouTube, but I also use two different browsers to avoid any trouble in case I forget to delete my history. IE for porn, Firefox for everything else.

I understand your concern. Its possible someone in your class might make the connection with your foot fetish but what other movies show Salma Hayaks body like that? I think this situation can be easily played off. Unless you just say "hell with it" and admit you like feet, if someone asks you can say Salma Hayak danced incredibly sexy in that scene.

I think you can turn off suggestions and favorited videos that appear on your main page through the account options. Also, that sucks. I'd probably turn red as shit and feel like, woooooooooa! On the brightside, like everyone said. It was just a hot scene from a badass movie.
