Are there any woman on this board who have long toenails? I have noticed more and more women in NYC and New Jersey are sporting this look and I think it is hot. It must be a new thing because 10 years ago not too many women were doing this, but now it is a trend. I am hoping a few lovely ladies with long toenails (but not freakishly long) may have joined this site.
Also, does anyone know who Laura from Feetishes is? Her feet are sent from above. Her toenails aren't even that long, but if you like big feet, long toes and a nice nailbed...she is the best. I'd love to wine and dine her...

I have to admit, long toenails just doesn't do it for me. However, I've always had a thing for LONG FINGERNAILS!

I don't know how many women here sport that "look" you're lookin' 4...but who knows? Wu's Forum has thousands of members! I'd say your chances are pretty good. I haven't visited feetishes.com in a while, but I do remember Laura! She's got sum gorgeous feet!!! I love the fact that we BOTH admire women with "BIG FEET"

i have notice some in uk with longer toenails and to be honest i'm loving it.

I espcially enjoy a sole view to see the nails hang over the actual toe from underneath

long toenails actually turn me off completely.. but i will also say that they fascinate me in a train wreck sorta way. so i am hoping you are completely wrong in this trend.

Can't really say that I've noticed it here in my part of Florida, but being in a non-metro area fashion trends take a while to get here and take longer to be accepted.

Sorry, can't say that I'm a fan of long toenails either.

I think long toenails may be a cultural thing...I have noticed long toenails more commonly on african american women. But I think women who grow them long may do it to stand out and to look sexy...and whether you like long nails or not...you must admit it does stand out.

I'm not a fan of real long fingernails, so toenails don't do it for me either. I've seen some picture sets of women that have put false long nails on their toes which was quite freakish.

A bit off topic, but did anyone catch the news story of that woman that made the Guinness record for the longest fingernails. Apparantly she was in a car accident and lost her nails she hasn't cut since 1979!

Okay, I LOVE long toenails, but not THAT long

I like the toenails to be slightly past the tip of the toe so you can see the underside of the toenails from sole view. But as I've said a million times on here, the most important thing to me is the size of the nail bed, if a woman has small nail beds, I just can't say she has beautiful feet.

Damn. Jak said PRECISELY what I had in mind! large/long nail beds and nails slightly past or at the tip. Perfect dimensions for me!

Though another minor detail I've noticed is that if the toes are nice and long, the nail beds can actually be somewhat smaller than I usually go for!

this may be an ignorant question, but whats a nail bed?

as for long toe nails, i find that its harder to maintain when toenails a longer. i wear thongs (or flip flops as every other country seems to call them) almost everyday, and having long toe nails so exposed would lead to breaking/tearing and the polish to chip sooner.

i prefer to keep mine neat and trimmed fairly short.

^ The nail bed is basically the space that the nail has available to grow between the cuticle and the tip of the toe. You can have two girls with toenails grown to the same exact part of their toe but one's toenails could be way larger than the other because her nail beds go deeper into the cuticle.

i'm a sucker for big nailbeds and if a women has long toenails i['m simply hooked!!!
someone in this thread said he loved the look of a women's soles when she has toenails long enough to be visable when you look at her soles, i absolutely lov it when their toenails are slightly longer than their toes!!!

i really hope this look catches on, but i still think not many women havethis look, but i love it and i'm never able to keep my eyes of them once i spot a women with longish toenails, big nailbeds and or long toes,

gotte love all thos ething, long toenails, long toes, long nailbeds, long/big feet,

hope all the ladies start sporting a slightly long toenails look this summer and all the time after tat,

Ridiculously long fingernails - (in particular) piss me off - like those on Angelkissedfeet, and that goes for toenails as well - they're just impractical...
