My answer: Maybe. I need to know whose socks they are. I certainly have, um, discreetly enjoyed a pair or two from women I've lusted for, but a random pair of socks really won't do anything for me. I put nylons/stockings in the same category.

As far as the "and such" part goes, I enjoy a sexy pair of shoes far more than socks. And while I prefer knowing whose they are, I admit occasionally, um, appreciating an anonymous pair or two or 10 simply because of their sexy attributes. (Heels and sandals, of course ... sneakers do nothing for me.)

Cheers,
DL

I sell used socks and pantyhose all the time. There is a market for it, however I find that the buyers like to establish some form of relationship with the model prior to purchasing, which in my opinion is a must. You need to know who you are buying socks from, so there is a time commitment on your part as the seller. It's simply a lifestyle and not an extra money thing. We are a community of give and take.

Just my 2 cents.

That is what I really love about the fetish community in general, Danielle. It's not just about Human ATMs. There are friendships to be made and it is even better when I hear the models acknowledge that aspect. That's awesome. xx

yeah, but I´ve been into footfetishism for a long long time... Both my private life and also I´ve been "dominating" guys with my feet sometimes for money... Be woth like it..

so I dont think you can say I´m just a taker and not a giver, or whatever you wrote...

I don't think that at all, nom. You were very diplomatic by just asking if there was any interest. I think there is, so I wouldn't be surprised if you've had further inquiries already!
If you like cute socks, this is a great place to shop: http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/edit/index.php
and a fan might even like to choose something in particular for you to wear for them. [Smile]

I've been burned so many times by women selling used socks that I've given up. They're never what is specified. But I'm sure there are plenty of people here on the board and out there in the world who would be willing to give you a shot. Everyone is always hoping to find the one that will actually deliver on what is promised.

Well said, Ms. Moore. I am not a fan of socks in and of themselves, but they can be a fun way to connect with fetish models/practitioners whose feet you admire but will likely never be able to experience in person. And of course having some sort of relationship with that person makes it all the more meaningful.

I'm sorry to learn you've had bad experiences, Izz. When it comes to socks and other feet-related snail-mail goodies, I've patronized people with whom I had ongoing, long-term interaction, and I think that makes a difference.

(The one time I strayed from that practice was with Masuimi Max, and fortunately, she came through like a champ!)

My apologies, I wasn't referring to you specifically, I should have been more clear. I was simply trying to give advice to anyone thinking about becoming active within the community. I hope I did not offend as it was not my intention.

Love you,

I bought a pair of used tights off ebay a couple of months ago. Although I didn't get the pair advertised the pair I got smell great. Ebay rules state a seller must wash clothing before selling but the tights didn't smell like they'd been washed which suited me fine.

I'm too worried to buy more incase someone finds out about my fetish for womens feet & tights.

I agree with Danielle's comments and I believe she isn't saying you are just taking...perhaps I can explain it as a potential buyer:

I have 50$ to buy used socks with, do I go with someone with a random e-mail address or go with someone who is established in this community, has plenty of clips/photos/vids etc.

No guy wants to buy socks and be thinking, did the person actually where this...or did the woman's partner wear the socks as he worked all day.

There needs to be trust with the buyer, the relationship thing as Danielle moore pointed out. Also some folk will want to buy something, say socks specifically worn to the gym.

Personally, I'd be looking for hosiery worn at work in an office or department store!

I'd love to buy some high-quality vintage stockings and high heels. It would be nice if the seller would somehow identify their authenticity with a photo or video. Maybe a unique marking or a discrete initial. I'd love to collect them for women I'd like to model for me.

That's one of the reasons why i stick to the rule i mentioned in my previous post. In addition, Kali Atrox, Goddess Dee, Kelly "DragonLily" Maren and others provide photos and/or clips along with items that verify their authenticity.

I agree with footgirl, of course it's a business of some type and yes there is a small profit in it for most. Why charge? I don't know about others, but I charge to support my involvement within the community. For example, I purchased photography equipment...(CHEAP EQUIMPENT) at that, and it still cost me over $1500.00. I bought this equipment in an attempt to deliver a better product for the community. Now all I have to do is learn to use the equipment I bought :-)

I also reinvest ALL the money I make from my site and sales of personal garments. I purchase things such as lingerie to wear in photo shoots, additional shoes used in photo shoots and to simply replace the items that I have sold.

Again, I am only speaking of my personal experience and I do not imply that all web mistress's do the same thing. We all operate our business differently. Some make good money and others like myself make very little money and choose to reinvest the money we do make back in to their involvement within the community.

For me, this is why I charge, it allows me to keep contributing to the community without being a drain on my personal bank account. I hope this clears things up. I love these debates and more importantly the differences in opinions. It's what makes Wu's so great.
